Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 17
Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 17. This is our last ‘normal gameweek’ for a while; one that is separated by about a week anyway, without other ones following on in quick succession. The 4 gameweeks which follow this will be condensed into 14 days. And you thought rotation was bad last week?! This one may be more normal, or so you’d think…
We begin with Man City looking to respond to a rare defeat at home to Everton at lunchtime on Saturday. This is followed by five 3pm games; Palace look for a rare home win against Leicester, Huddersfield vs Newcastle promises to be a thriller *sighs, Spurs will be hoping Burnley haven’t quite found the eye of the tiger just yet, whilst Watford and Wolves will both be hoping to return to their early season form against Cardiff and Bournemouth.
Fulham will look to bounce back after their embarrassing Old Trafford mauling against a resurgent West Ham in the Saturday evening game.
Sunday begins with two games at 1.30pm with Brighton hosting Chelsea and Saints welcoming Arsenal before our gameweek ends at 4pm with Liverpool’s annual Cup Final that is Man United.
The games in full…

Ok so sterling benched which is bad but it makes my decisions easier! Thinking of sterling back to Salah. My thinking is that City will always rotate, but I’d rather have £9.5 mil benched than £11.5 and the money saved allows me to improve my 5th mid or 4th defender to fill in when the inevitable happens. What are other people’s thoughts!? Hope Kane plays!!
He’s been benched for this week not next week
You seem to have missed the point!
Ah sorry, I see it now, yes I hope Kane plays too 😉
Told you one of them were going to be on the bench, this is why it’s a gamble having 2 or 3 City attacking players
No shit Sherlock.
Nostradamus has nothing on you! 😉
“I told you so” isn’t really in the spirit of the community, bud. I like to think we are all backing each other.
Knowing our luck from last week kane will be on the bench
I think I might be going alone the same lines, unbelievably frustrating.
Sterling might still score a brace off the bench for all we know, let’s see what happens first, although Salah —> Sterling last weeks continues to piss me off obviously
It’s more likely Richarlison to get a brace me think 😆
We’ll all want Kun back next week anyway after a brace from the bench !!
Thinking the same thing Rosco. Felt this week is a play off of some of my expensive players. Very similar teams
I know it’ll be Sane benched next week but such is life!
he “feels” more in form (Sane) – cant have them all
Good luck everyone xx
Thanks hun x
And to you my friend!
It’s more than luck I need but thanks mate
Thanks 😉
Thanks Blue 😉 …
Interesting to see KDB back on the bench. May well feature in my wildcard team rather than Sane.
That has to be the strongest bench in PL history
KDB isn’t 100% yet, hence the bench.
I have Sterling as well, and it’s frustrating that he’s benched more often than he should be for a 11m+ forward. Finally, thinking of swapping him out for Hazard, Alli or someone who will be there week in week out. Any suggestions helpful. Cheers and happy holiday season.
I’d have to be convinced that that would be the better route
True, that’s why I’ve held out for one more week – this week. And he’s benched again. Mane is also looking an increasingly attractive option even though he’s been missing sitters all season long.
How did he miss tht!!! (Richarlison) would have been perfect for my team with no City defence!!
My Cup opponent…
Sane & Bellerin benched…
Trippier ; Gueye & Arnie in his 1st 11…
Oh, yeah…and no Kane…
Looks like an easy win…(if something doesn’t go terribly wrong)…
Not that I care, though…
I’ve never been a fan of the Cup…
