Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 17
Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 17. The matches are coming thick and fast and provide a great opportunity to continue the momentum of a decent previous game-week or alternatively a chance to recover from a shocker. In whichever camp you find yourself, it’s time to go again and we kick off GW17 with three matches this evening. Burnley get the chance to add to their clean sheet collection as they host Stoke, Watford look to bounce back from last weekend’s loss as they go to Palace while Chelsea have the chance to upset many gambler’s accumulators again as they go to Huddersfield.
The majority of matches take place on Wednesday. Big Sam’s bus tour takes him and the Toffees to Newcastle, Southampton host Leicester, leaders and likely Champions Man City go to Swansea, Klopp vs Pardew takes place at Anfield with the Baggies the visitors, Man Utd welcome Bournemouth to Old Trafford, Brighton travel to Wembley to try and stop Kane and co and West Ham host a second London derby in a week with Arsenal the guests.

Can someone tell me what score I’m on is it Christmas hehe 😉
You’re on 62 inc. bonuses -4 so 58. You bloody drunk 😉
Init it is Christmas & Christ that’s ok taking to Many hits that have gone wrong just for cash & Cap picks the worst by far chk your Cap scores mine was below 150
Up until this Gw 😉
194 mate.
“Possible Captain Points if you always captained highest Gameweek scorer : 426” – is the most depressing!!!!
For anyone who ‘wants’ to do the same –

Init That’s quite interesting Init the difference is huge I bet the top 10,000 all have good Cap picks need to start getting it right 😉
Interesting Init, got the same cap points as you and” 418 if i had capped the higest scoring player every week
Rant time. I hate the stupid f’ing cup. Beaten by some crap team 3.8 mil ranking. I hate Harry f’ing Kane and David f’ing Silva and Eden f’ing Hazard. Crap game. Merry f’ing Christmas.
Rant over.
Lots of stress in FFL
Terrible gameweek for me! Foster (with 10 points) on the bench after I sold Elliot (who would’ve subbed off) for Gomes just last gameweek. I’m out of the Cup too. Fun times.
I hope most of you had better fortunes.
Evening gents – terrible gw with 37 but I’ll take heart from the fact my best player is the one I bought this week : Og freaking bonna!!
Looking ahead, is it time to dump all Burnley defensive assets? They’re usually good for a cleanie at home but their next four at Turf Moor are against Spurs, Utd, Liverpool and City. Thoughts ?

Only if you had transfers to burn. I wouldn’t class it a priority if you had other options you could rotate in.
Depends on personal circumstance I guess.
Injuries, injuries. When mixed in with rotation concerns, the FPL playing estimates seem particularly hard to read. Mee looked like he could play, but was held back, whereas Femenia, who did show for a few minutes for the disaster at CP, seemed to be seriously hobbling. And then Morata. What does 50 percent really mean? He’s out for the weekend, or is he just fragile, and will come out when Conte decides he needs him? And Richarlison. The initial estimates are 25 percent and dunno, but the more serious estimates frequently/usually turn out to be too pessimistic. So, keep Richarlison, as a low-priced midfield miracle, or retreat to a more conventional solution? Hate this game, sometimes….
Ki, you can’t go off those %’s, they mean very little. Your best bet is the press conference but even then it’s often left unclear. Between the team here we watch every press conference, or at least the pertinent highlights, and then translate that back into the Team News and ultimately our best guess at each line-up. But even then the managers themselves don’t often know at that point as there’s usually still a training session to go before the game.
Femenia is a classic case in point. Fit enough to come on but not fit enough to start. That’s probably just the manager being overly cautious what with so many games ahead at this time of year.
Init,
Belated thanks for the detailed response. I was just a little down, as I thought I had prepared for the season, and I end up looking at flags.
My -4 team..Sane and Daniels out for Silva and Jones.
I understand the injury situation.. but couldn’t hold myself.
