Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 17

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 17. The matches are coming thick and fast and provide a great opportunity to continue the momentum of a decent previous game-week or alternatively a chance to recover from a shocker. In whichever camp you find yourself, it’s time to go again and we kick off GW17 with three matches this evening. Burnley get the chance to add to their clean sheet collection as they host Stoke, Watford look to bounce back from last weekend’s loss as they go to Palace while Chelsea have the chance to upset many gambler’s accumulators again as they go to Huddersfield.

The majority of matches take place on Wednesday. Big Sam’s bus tour takes him and the Toffees to Newcastle, Southampton host Leicester, leaders and likely Champions Man City go to Swansea, Klopp vs Pardew takes place at Anfield with the Baggies the visitors, Man Utd welcome Bournemouth to Old Trafford, Brighton travel to Wembley to try and stop Kane and co and West Ham host a second London derby in a week with Arsenal the guests.

Just another disaster gameweek for me sad because of Mee among other things.

Just noticed the weird cup thingy started today. I am playing versus a team that died way back when. And it still has a chance of winning. He has Morata as cappo and his vice is Lloris. laugh Hahha. I just know it, he will beat me. Even though 50 percent of his team is flagged. laugh

Until stoppage time I was on 24 (-8) from 4 players. Lost CS for Courtois and Marriapa gave up 2 goals in added time. Ended today on 15 (-8) from 4

    Mr Bean says:

How does Richarlison manage to finish on 11 BPS today? 11?!

Also just noticed midfielders get 1 point for a clean sheet but no BPS for it…strange.

Are you saying that because he has too many or not enough?

      • Mr Bean says:

An assist (key pass and BCC) and 60 minutes+ gets him to like 20 BPS on its own – didn’t see the game so he must have been pretty awful other than that to drop so much?

        • He completed only 45% of his passes, so he missed that bonus, missed a big chance which is a -3, was tackled 5 times so that’s -5 right there, think 2 shots off target, so -2 there and committed two fouls which is another -2. So yeah, not a great game. Although he did create a big chance for Deeney and had an assist, so…

        • inittowinit says:

Looked like he played fine. He’s just wasteful and BPS punishes that trait, perhaps too much. Well yeah, definitely too much – sometimes you’re better on the periphery in this system. Get involved and you’re always more likely to lose more than you gain.

        • Mr Bean says:

Guess it makes sense from that Mito, he seems to have struggled for bonus all season despite his goals/assists – must be firing shots all over the place.

Init, I thought exactly the same of Salah which is exactly why I got rid of him…picked up maximum bonus in 2 of the next 4 games, and probably would have been 3 had he not missed the penalty against Huddersfield. He’s definitely improving on that front by the looks of it.

        • Speaking of Salah, rumours are he won’t start tomorrow. Apparently a slight hamstring problem. Will have to wait and see team sheets.

        • Mr Bean says:

          Just read that…

Thought he was safe to captain having been taken off early in the last two…nice of Klopp to let us know it was due to injury after the GW deadline, god how inconsiderate…

        • Richarlison might have a problem, figure I tell you now before you put me in the Klopp category. 😉

      constantine says:

As per me, he is high potential player. He could’ve very easily had another assist when Deeney missed a sitter and also he himself missed a clear goal in front of the net. I’m going to keep him for the rest of the season unless he’s injured or so..
