Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 18. The silly season officially begins here. We have no less than 40 games spanning the next 14 days taking in 4 GW’s in total. We can but recommend you stick close to both our Fixture Tracker and our on-site Countdown Timer to keep track of when each GW begins, but as a helpful little ditty to perhaps take a ‘snap of’, the deadlines are as follows (all times are GMT) –
GW18 Friday 21st December 7PM
GW19 Wednesday 26th December 11.30AM
GW20 Saturday 29th December 3PM
GW21 Tuesday 1st January 11.30AM
As for this GW we begin on Friday and end on Sunday with the majority of the games on Saturday for a pleasant change. Wolves and Liverpool kick us off this evening as the current league leaders look to put the pressure on their chasers by extending their overnight lead to 4 points over Man City.
Saturday begins with many an FPL manager sweating over the Arsenal line-up as they play host to an ever increasingly tight Burnley side. Six 3PM kick-offs follow with Bournemouth and Brighton both looking to regain some sort of form, Chelsea hoping to continue their own pursuit against Leicester, Huddersfield look to stop the new beer flowing against the Saints, Man City probably playing catch up against Palace, Newcastle hoping Mitro doesn’t come back to haunt them and West Ham look for 5 wins in a row for who knows how long as they host Watford.
Saturday evening could be intriguing as Cardiff look to take 3 points off fellow strugglers Man United.
Our only game on a barren Sunday is Everton vs Spurs. Harry Kane may not know it but this could be his final rehearsal for many FPL managers, especially if Kun shows up on Saturday.

*terms and conditions apply and are available upon request. Management reserve the right to review membership of this league on an ongoing basis. If you enter and win a prize you have to have commented on the site at least 5 times for 8 consecutive months between August 2018 and March 2019 or you will not be considered for a prize. That’s basically 1 comment a week all season, we think that’s a reasonable ask to be considered a ‘regular’.

Hey All. Jack here from Cambridgeshire. Massive Gunners fan.Joined this site few days ago having come across it on Twitter. I looked at the features on this site and I believe till now this is the best site for all things FPL with a good mix of people on the community.
Not the best gameweek so far but hopefully things go back to normal for me on FPL in the coming weeks. Look forward to meeting you all, trying my best to give advice and hopefully get all your opinions on RMT and GW squads.

@cookie – id just do wilson to rashford for now. double everton is too much on defence, they will always concede and i believe digne will be the only one I keep just cause he has that attacking mindset. id get coleman to upgrade to either a luiz or doherty eventually.

Thoughts on Bednareks game time? He has played the full 90 mins over the last 3 games! Worth it as a cheap def at 3.9 or is he only in due to injury elsewhere?
Igy, I reckon the way he played vs Arsenal gives him a great chance of being kept in the side by the new manager. Personally I don’t normally go for super-cheap defenders, but if that’s what you want then he seems a sound choice.
Hey gkw! I’m just considering ways to get Martial in my team that’s all! Looking at lots of options but could do Alonso and Camarasa to Bednarek and Martial!
I’d leave your midfield alone till you’ve sorted out your defence. Bringing in Bednarek could be part of that, but aim to upgrade your other defenders.
Yeah he should be nailed now, I gotta say there was wide astonishment among some Saints fans as to why he wasn’t a starter under MH, and now that Hazelnut took over he should be nailed! Also Yoshida goes to the Asian games soon so he should at least be nailed until after that, until February, and after that it’s a matter of how he plays, there’s competition for his spot mind!

The guy leading my mini league keeps posting great scores with Kante in his team! Always nails his captain… he went Auba this week and I went Sterling! Funny old season!
Brooky, this Cup is the funniest thing around. My B team is playing against a team with captain Alonso, little that he knew Chelski will get shutout at home by Leicester for a first time in 18 years 😀

hi again smash. i read somewhere that it could do in button’s favour after doing good for the u-23. its still unclear to me at this point but I have button after WC 2 weeks ago.
Had that choice to made a couple of weeks back when I WC myself. Went for Button because he played in the only competitive match where Ryan didn’t this season (EPL vs Southampton). He was on the bench from beginning too, but the last 8 it was Steele there so he might be ahead now. The burglar.

Spurs to do a professional job – don’t think Kane will explode but maybe a goal. Richarlison to blank…
