Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 18. The silly season officially begins here. We have no less than 40 games spanning the next 14 days taking in 4 GW’s in total. We can but recommend you stick close to both our Fixture Tracker and our on-site Countdown Timer to keep track of when each GW begins, but as a helpful little ditty to perhaps take a ‘snap of’, the deadlines are as follows (all times are GMT) –

As for this GW we begin on Friday and end on Sunday with the majority of the games on Saturday for a pleasant change. Wolves and Liverpool kick us off this evening as the current league leaders look to put the pressure on their chasers by extending their overnight lead to 4 points over Man City.
Saturday begins with many an FPL manager sweating over the Arsenal line-up as they play host to an ever increasingly tight Burnley side. Six 3PM kick-offs follow with Bournemouth and Brighton both looking to regain some sort of form, Chelsea hoping to continue their own pursuit against Leicester, Huddersfield look to stop the new beer flowing against the Saints, Man City probably playing catch up against Palace, Newcastle hoping Mitro doesn’t come back to haunt them and West Ham look for 5 wins in a row for who knows how long as they host Watford.
Saturday evening could be intriguing as Cardiff look to take 3 points off fellow strugglers Man United.
Our only game on a barren Sunday is Everton vs Spurs. Harry Kane may not know it but this could be his final rehearsal for many FPL managers, especially if Kun shows up on Saturday.

*terms and conditions apply and are available upon request. Management reserve the right to review membership of this league on an ongoing basis. If you enter and win a prize you have to have commented on the site at least 5 times for 8 consecutive months between August 2018 and March 2019 or you will not be considered for a prize. That’s basically 1 comment a week all season, we think that’s a reasonable ask to be considered a ‘regular’.

Firstly, I have to express my disappointment that there was no team line ups published this week. I run a mail order breakfast business (Toast by Post) and I’m available 24/7 to provide a service to my customers.**

Downgrade Alonso to a cheaper Chelsea defender (or Shaw at 4.9m?) And dump one of sterling or sane for Salah.

Alternatively, Laca–>Chicha/Ings and Sterling–>Salah ?
Laca to Rashford and Sterling to Salah.

Easiest way would probably be to downgrade Lacazette and dump one of Sterling or Sane.Not sure losing Sterling is a good idea though !
Chins, how do you keep your toast from crumbling? Must be a mighty fine business man to find that balance between toast that’s soggy and toast that’s crunchy! Or is it like take and bake pizza where you just send a slice of bread and call it “fresh toast” that’s designed to be toasted in the customer’s own toaster?
Anyway, seems you’ve got to lose Sterling and Lacazette (Salah and Rashford?!?!) or Sane and Kane (Salah and Eriksen?!?!). Good luck!
Chins, it looks like you have made up your mind already but think again. Do you think Salah and his a goal per game will bring you more points than Sterling and Sane in the next few weeks? Just because they blanked this week it doesn’t mean they won’t explode again. Just remember the almost 120 K managers who sold Auba before this round 😉
120k managers sold Auba when he was the 2nd highest goalscorer behind Salah when the round started! And he is now top scorer before Kane kicks off.
1 mill cheaper than Kane and 1.6 mill cheaper than Salah. That’s what I call value!

Schocking week for me – time for wildcard!

Starting from this team, I d like to accomodate Salah, and some ManU assets.
I also think that I can downgrade Luiz and Laporte, as well of one of my keepers.
My first draft is this one.
I would go 3-5-2. I build on the fact that ManU, Everton and West Ham have nice fixtures. That Hazard and Salah are just too good. And that Auba has form and fixtures.
Biggest problem is the absence of City attacking assets. Of course, Auba could become Kun in a couple of GWs…
Second draft, trying to squeeze KdB in.
I have to sell Auba for this. And I do not really know what to do with the extra money. So I keep Laporte, and buy Kepa, but I am not really convinced…

Pancho it was correct as it was. Generally speaking, if you yourself are logged into FPL already on your device then the first click on a linked team will take you to your own page. Back up and try it a second time and it picks up theirs.
Gotcha. Never had that happen before but that must be what it was.

Hi waljac, if you are Jack Gibbon then it is indeed linked correctly.
To answer on the Liverpool thing then yes there’s a fair few of those and also a good number of Man Utd too but that’s probably the case on most forums given the popularity of both teams. There’s a fairly wide spread across many other teams too, to the point that if anyone has a specific question about a club / player there’s usually someone on hand who supports them that can answer more specifically if need be. The great thing on here is that club loyalties don’t tend to show too much and the banter is friendly as the majority are realists and call what they see, not what they wanted to see!

hello init. thanks for welcoming me here and nice to understand that there are a wide spread of members from different clubs. i was wondering if there is a section, such as, the best person to get advice from based on the players you are looking to bring in. As in Example, ivan – manu, gkw – watford, etc.
