Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 18

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 18. The silly season officially begins here. We have no less than 40 games spanning the next 14 days taking in 4 GW’s in total. We can but recommend you stick close to both our Fixture Tracker and our on-site Countdown Timer to keep track of when each GW begins, but as a helpful little ditty to perhaps take a ‘snap of’, the deadlines are as follows (all times are GMT) –

GW18 Friday 21st December 7PM
GW19 Wednesday 26th December 11.30AM
GW20 Saturday 29th December 3PM
GW21 Tuesday 1st January 11.30AM

As for this GW we begin on Friday and end on Sunday with the majority of the games on Saturday for a pleasant change. Wolves and Liverpool kick us off this evening as the current league leaders look to put the pressure on their chasers by extending their overnight lead to 4 points over Man City.

Saturday begins with many an FPL manager sweating over the Arsenal line-up as they play host to an ever increasingly tight Burnley side. Six 3PM kick-offs follow with Bournemouth and Brighton both looking to regain some sort of form, Chelsea hoping to continue their own pursuit against Leicester, Huddersfield look to stop the new beer flowing against the Saints, Man City probably playing catch up against Palace, Newcastle hoping Mitro doesn’t come back to haunt them and West Ham look for 5 wins in a row for who knows how long as they host Watford.

Saturday evening could be intriguing as Cardiff look to take 3 points off fellow strugglers Man United.

Our only game on a barren Sunday is Everton vs Spurs. Harry Kane may not know it but this could be his final rehearsal for many FPL managers, especially if Kun shows up on Saturday.

The games in full…

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

Good luck to absolutely everyone for Gameweek 18 from all at FF247!

  1. It has to be Wolly when you least expect him 😆

  2. Great finish from Son !

    • Was that not a Kane assist. Was a cracking finish

      • They have it as “tbc” at the moment. Thomas has made is opinion very clear here though.

    • kane wont get the assist as last touch came off pickford?

      • Weren’t much of a touch

      • Did it touch Pickford ? Thats got to be a Kane assist !

        • Yes it did. Clearly. The one doubt here is whether that is deemed as changing the course of the ball in a relevant way because had he not touched it and it would still be on Son’s path. Doubtful at the least.

        • hey brooky. i think it touched his knees and then son went for the finish. not sure how fpl assists work

        • the path was diverted so wont be a kane assist IMO. anyways he has a goal now from a trippier assist.

        • The pass, yes. The path, not really.

  3. Pickford doing some Karius-style kung-fu moves… :ninja:

  4. Rashford is already on 103,479 transfers in, Lingard and Martial are not far behind :lurker:

  5. Spurs are at it again…

  6. Boom. Alli goal.

    • You have him? Argh I envy you. Him and Son and bossing this.

    • Boom!
      Son goal+assist 😉 !!

      • Son will make sure Kane gets nothing. :p

        • The moment I said it Kane scored. Hallelujah. :p

        • No no no no no!!! Kane looks sharp too and has one already. Son looks great though.

        • Dmc. I usually badmouth the players in my team I want to score. I have Kane. :p

          Call it superstition. smile

        • Keep insulting the inglorious bastard

        • Does he, Kane almost missed that and has missed some chances he would have scored last season

        • I disagree there Smash. He could have had one stunner (the left foot shot just outside the box) and then had a decent right footed shot. Hardly count as missed opportunities…

        • Could be me just wanting to get rid and frustrated he’s not as good as last season I think

    • Still thinking of selling him ?
