Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 18. Just the 9 fixtures to negotiate this week as Liverpool swan around in Dubai, meaning many an FPL manager could conceivably have something like 20% of their FPL budget riding their bench.

We begin on Saturday lunchtime with what will probably be Big Dunc’s last hurrah in the dugout at Goodison, at least for a while. We all know what’s coming and more importantly Arsenal know what’s coming. Could you pick a less spineless side to sign off against in what will be a thunderous atmosphere? 3pm then sees a veritable feast of mid-table / relegation candidates battle it out in 5 fixtures you probably wouldn’t want to pay to see with stolen money.

Saturday evening is more like it as Man City host Leicester to see if either can gain some sneaky ground on Liverpool, in their race to finish 2nd.

Sunday sees a swift finish to GW18 with Man United visiting Watford at 2pm before Spurs and Chelsea do battle at 4pm.

    • This team doesn’t really need a WC and you have the money to make a one week punt wonder move. Son, Rashford even Auba if feasible?

      • Agreed. Probably do Ings to Rashford for a one-week punt, and do the WC for GW20. Well done for keeping it so long.

        • He probably should have used it around GW5. He’s now left in a situation whereby it’s really not necessarily needed.

    £0.5 m to spend plus this bunch..

    KdB, Mané, Zaha, Alli, Traore,
    Ings, Vardy, Rashford

    Any ideas?

    • Maybe Zaha to someone? He just scored but it was a wonder goal, Palace don’t seem to be creating many chances, and Zaha hasn’t scored well this season, accordingly

  5. Original plan was to WC now but the team looks rather nice for the Boxing Day. I was thinking Mané/Salah double up but they just played 120mins in the Club World Cup, coupled up with traveling and all, and Son/Alli have a nice fixture against Brighton, whereas Pool have Leicester away… Think I’ll WC in GW20 instead! So have 1 FT with this lot now, any suggestions? Have 1m in the bank, Tomori to Digne?

    • Can’t afford Jimenez to Rashford, plus Jimenez is great for the tough fixtures remember! smile

    • Yeah that’s well set up this week. Wildcard after. I’m thinking about having both Salah and Mane. Just don’t think I’ll be able to fit Jimenez in

      • Yeah it’s a bit tough to have both Salah/Mane in there with KDB as well, but it’s doable, can’t have a Pool defender then though but maybe that’s not too bad…
