Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 18

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 18.

Remember back when a midweek fixture was an exciting rarity? It is hardly an uncommon occurrence these days and one to which we shall be treated to quite a few more times before the season is up. There are in fact three of these in the next five GW’s and even one of those (DGW19) straddles a midweek.

As for this one it begins on Tuesday at 6pm as Sheffield and Newcaste unite to see who can score the least goals. Then at 8.15pm Burnley host half the games captain in the shape of Bruno. At the same time Wolves welcome Everton.

Wednesday begins at 6pm with the other halves captain (KdB) hosting Brighton. Spurs (now) welcome a reluctant Fulham at 8.15pm.

Arsenal and Palace see us out on Thursday at 8pm.

And don’t forget that once the above GW ends on Thursday evening the next one begins on Saturday and that one is a double so get your planning sorted early doors!

The games in full…

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

    I’ve got 1FT and 1.5m

Burke to Soucek could be an easy move?
Or two moves (-4) to bring Salah back?
    Any thoughts?

Hi all, what would you do here? I am probably looking to make two of the three moves for a -4.

    A: DCL > Antonio
    B: Riedewald > Foden
    C: Son > KDB

    I have 1FT and 2.2M ITB

Are people concerned about the possibility of Man City vs Villa being called off? If it did get called off, how likely is it the the City vs Everton game might be played instead?

For those without KDB, who do we think is the best captain option?
    Salah (2 home games)?
    Fernandes (2 away games)?
    Vardy (2 home games)?
Going Fernandes at the moment and he seems to love away fuxtures.

Well before Wilson ended up with a double it was an obvious Wilson to Antonio move. Now I’m stumped. What’s the best option here? I’ve got 1 FT and 1.4 ITB:

    1) Still do Wilson to Antonio
    2) Bamford to Antonio (although I’ll lose 0.4 value if I want to buy him back!)
    3) Kane to Vardy (although I’ll lose 0.3 value, and I’ll definitely want to buy him back!)
    4) Holding to Cresswell (I’ll lose 0.1 value, and I probably would switch back as I don’t want to end up with 4 expensive defenders)
    5) Just roll the FT

You could just bank, or in theory you could upgrade Mitchell and Steer for a -4 and bench boost if you wanted. You would still have some single gameweek players, but they would all have good fuxtures.

Who would feel comfortable with the armband on Foden?
