Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 18. And we are back. Again! Get used to the quick turnaround as it is exciting times right now. Presents to buy? Turkeys to prepare? Nah, screw that, it’s football time! Leicester and Palace kick off a bumper weekend that goes all the way through until Monday night this time. They get going at lunch-time on Saturday and are followed by five 3pm games. Saturday evening sees possibly the game of the week as Man City host Spurs in what is a truly mouth-watering clash.
Sunday has two games with Man united visiting Pardew and his West Brom team first, followed by Bournemouth hosting Liverpool. Or at least whichever version of Liverpool Klopp chooses to actually place on the field this time.
We continue through to Monday with Allardyce faced with a home game he is expected to win. Grinding out away draws are more his speciality so this one could be testing as Swansea roll up, legs akimbo.

63 with DCL & Kenny to play should see me with some nice green arrows then. 26 on the bench as well but I’m taking that as a good sign.
I’ve already sold one of my non-performers, so no Kane leaves me a whole heap ITB to play with later in the week!

Still think Kane will be top scorer come the end of the year. The Jesus/Aguero thing is strange as their both so good

So what moves is everyone planning for GW19? Defo sorting my defence and bench out with a -4 probably Jones and and a West Ham player.
Whatever I do I hope I start having a bit of luck! I just need that one big scoring GW to get me back on track..

Yeah same really could do with a big week. Fairly sure I’ll tske a hit this week. I know I’ve been really unlucky with injuries recently

Im fairly confident my luck will change over the Xmas period, really going to take some punts with my capo choices.
It’s been a strange season so far, I’m averaging 52.9, I need the second half of the season to be around 60-62 for me to have a chance of keeping my ML and hopefully another 10k finish!

Might go 3-5-2 with Lingard as 5th mid Mitro. Prob also get a West Ham defender and dgrade useless Wilson to an even cheaper waste of space.

I had Wilson as well, wasn’t one of my best moves… Lingard does look appealing and is on my radar, going to shift kolanasic and mbema.

Been falling in my ML since past few weeks. Main reason is I have “essentials” like Kane and Morata, and they don’t. Seriously considering getting rid of both as they are holding too much funds between them. Rivals’ team look much better without them and are scoring better every week. Thinking of getting 2 city mids and a def, and Firmino for better balance.

Yeah I get the balance thing as points seem to be in midfield. There really is a lack of strikers at the moment

Thoughts on Morata? Guessing he will come back in. Real lack of forwards at the moment

Had him for a couple of weeks but also had Hazard and didn’t think the double up was worth it. Might get him back at some point if/when he starts scoring regularly again. It really is slim pickings up top at the minute though.

Yeah I have both Morata and Hazard and Chelsea just don’t score as many goals as City or Liverpool. I’d prefer to keep Hazard but there are just so many more options in midfield

Midfield is the place to invest IMO – just have a look at the players sorted by form on FPL. Before today’s games Rooney was the only FWD in the top 20. After finishing transfers this week my midfield will likely be Hazard/Salah/Sterling/KDB & Silva or possibly Pogba.
Mind, I have sold Kane to fund that so not exactly risk free!

Well happy with 56 points for Renfrew Rangers this game week with no-one else to play.
Two free transfers for next game week with £2.4m in the bank.
Need some City coverage so Richarlison to Sterling defo one of my transfers with Cahill to Otamendi likely to be the other transfer.
