Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 19. WAKEY, WAKEY! Christmas is over. It’s FPL time again! You’ve had your day off and as much as we hope you enjoyed your turkey and wine it’s business time again. We’ve even posted this an hour earlier than normal as a big fat warning that GW19 starts today at 11.30am.

It’s a whirlwind GW this one as we start today with no less than 9 games on Wednesday and finish tomorrow with just the one outlier. We then get Friday off before we begin again on Saturday. Fulham and Wolves open Boxing Day for us at 12.30pm before we see 12 teams contest 6 games at 3pm and there are some big hitters featured in there with Man City, Liverpool and Spurs all in action. Man United play too.

Brighton and Arsenal play at tea-time at 5.15pm before Watford host Chelsea in the evening game at 7.30pm.

Saints vs West Ham finishes us off on Thursday at 7.45pm.

The games in full…

Stick close to both our Fixture Tracker and our on-site Countdown Timer to keep track of when each GW begins in this hectic festive period, the remaining deadlines are as follows (all times are GMT) –

GW20 Saturday 29th December 3PM

    Hey all,

Happy with 77pts and ings still to play. If only I’d made salah captain.

Want to swap dunk to digne ( was going to do it this week but saw getting salah as a higher priority) but need 0.5. Not happy with ederson as keeper anymore so who would you swap him to at 5.0 or under?

    Fabs?
    Patricio?

    Cheers

Is Sterling, Sane and Wilson to Son, Pogba and Auba too knee jerky? City boys have been a massive disappointment. It’d be for a -4.

Thoughts on this? 2FT thinking Martial and Sterling to Pogba and Son. I realise Son has the Asia games ut he has 3 games to play before then and he’s in form. Pogba to Martial maybe a bit sideways?

Hi Cap sounds like martial will be back very quickly. Just a little illness. I still think Martial is more likely to be amongst the points week after week.

I believe that Son only has two games yet to play.
I wouldn’t do Martial to Pogba though. Sideway transfer, since it seems that Martial will be back next GW.
If you want to use both FTs, why not upgrade Hodgberg to a 7.5, to be in better shape in case of rotations? Lingard, Felipe Anderson?

Hi turkey. Definitely time to use your first wildcard as this is your last chance. Once gameweek 20 is in play (saturday) you will lose it if you haven’t used it. Your team looks quite good but you could tinker a bit. Personally I would lose Ederson as City are leaking goals. I would also look at changing Duffy and strengthening the bench slightly if you can.

I’d loose Ederson to Fabianski, Patricio to Speroni, downgrade Laporte, Cedric to Bednarek… and maybe consider Joselu to Kamara and Roberston to TAA.
And with the money, I’d try either to change Felipe Anderson into Hazard, or McArthur to a better midfielder. Son? Martial?

But these are only my ideas!

Hearing that Salah could face a 2 game ban for conning the ref into giving a penalty, decision by a panel on Thursday. Would miss Arse + Citeh games if upheld.

Hi all, hope we did well through the Christmas period. Looking at my team, wouldn’t mind getting Pogba in. He’s in form and very confident so I can’t see him slowing down when it comes to taking a shot. I have 1ft and 2.9m in the bank so sky is the limit. Had some risky ideas as I always do. They never normally work but consulting you all here surely does. Any opinions and advice is most welcome! Cheers! Happy to explain my insanity when coming up with the moves I’ve been pondering.
