Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 19. WAKEY, WAKEY! Christmas is over. It’s FPL time again! You’ve had your day off and as much as we hope you enjoyed your turkey and wine it’s business time again. We’ve even posted this an hour earlier than normal as a big fat warning that GW19 starts today at 11.30am.
It’s a whirlwind GW this one as we start today with no less than 9 games on Wednesday and finish tomorrow with just the one outlier. We then get Friday off before we begin again on Saturday. Fulham and Wolves open Boxing Day for us at 12.30pm before we see 12 teams contest 6 games at 3pm and there are some big hitters featured in there with Man City, Liverpool and Spurs all in action. Man United play too.
Brighton and Arsenal play at tea-time at 5.15pm before Watford host Chelsea in the evening game at 7.30pm.
Saints vs West Ham finishes us off on Thursday at 7.45pm.

*terms and conditions apply and are available upon request. Management reserve the right to review membership of this league on an ongoing basis. If you enter and win a prize you have to have commented on the site at least 5 times for 8 consecutive months between August 2018 and March 2019 or you will not be considered for a prize. That’s basically 1 comment a week all season, we think that’s a reasonable ask to be considered a ‘regular’.

I fear I am paying for the sins of a former life via the medium of FPL and all I can conclude is that I must have been one evil bastard. No good will come of this gameweek and I imagine the next will be the same!

I cannot even start to imagine the bad that I have done as well!
In the same boat: my ‘logical’ choices of players back fire and Mr Surely-He’d-Never-Score/Assist does just that!!! Argh.
It’s tough isn’t it? Every week I make my moves and look at my team and think it looks good but we’re only into the first half and already my choices seem foolish!
Goals everywhere, but has there ever been a half of greater fantasy irrelevance?!

But in general, not a lot of relevance in that first half.
45 minutes – Salah and Kane had no shots.
🙁 – I’m following the BBC live text. Minimal/zero mentions of Kane/Firmino/Sterling et al. If the 2nd half doesn’t liven up (for us folk) then there will be red arrows everywhere :oogle: .
