Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 19. WAKEY, WAKEY! Christmas is over. It’s FPL time again! You’ve had your day off and as much as we hope you enjoyed your turkey and wine it’s business time again. We’ve even posted this an hour earlier than normal as a big fat warning that GW19 starts today at 11.30am.

It’s a whirlwind GW this one as we start today with no less than 9 games on Wednesday and finish tomorrow with just the one outlier. We then get Friday off before we begin again on Saturday. Fulham and Wolves open Boxing Day for us at 12.30pm before we see 12 teams contest 6 games at 3pm and there are some big hitters featured in there with Man City, Liverpool and Spurs all in action. Man United play too.

Brighton and Arsenal play at tea-time at 5.15pm before Watford host Chelsea in the evening game at 7.30pm.

Saints vs West Ham finishes us off on Thursday at 7.45pm.

Our Regulars League* for 2018/19 is now open and has a cash prize pool of £300 paid directly to the winners from the FF247 management team. The first 5 places are paid out in a tiered system.

To enter this one you need to be an active and recognised site member and you need to e-mail us for the league code – elleffcee@gmail.com

*terms and conditions apply and are available upon request. Management reserve the right to review membership of this league on an ongoing basis. If you enter and win a prize you have to have commented on the site at least 5 times for 8 consecutive months between August 2018 and March 2019 or you will not be considered for a prize. That’s basically 1 comment a week all season, we think that’s a reasonable ask to be considered a ‘regular’.

    • He will be leaving on the 13th after the United game SAF.

    • A little trick I have started doing is forgetting about fantasy and just focusing on supporting and enjoying Liverpool. It’s working so far and this week has been my best FPL week for ages!

      • Being as they’ve never won the Prem, you enjoy

          Burglars broke into the Liverpool trophy room and stole the entire contents – police are looking for two men carrying a red carpet.

        • But if a shit joke tbh. Liverpool are one of the most successful English clubs ever.
          Even as an Arsenal fan, I’d love to see them win the league this year.

      • That is so true Chins. Rivalry is always a good source for jokes. Liverpool are definitely one of the greatest teams and will be.

        • I’m all for banter Ivan, but the joke has to make sense! Liverpool are probably one of a handful of teams that joke doesn’t work for. You’d be much better focusing on their propensity for unemployment (See Elleffcee), petty crime (See Elleffcee), or incest (See Elleffcee).

        • Haha, spot on. There are hundreds of jokes for every team if you want them. Only fools can take them seriously. I fully agree that Liverpool have the best chance this season after seeing City losing once again. In that contest, I must admit that my pool free team experiment failed badly and carries the warning-don’t try this at home.
