Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 19. Our festive fixtures kick off with an unusually cramped yet elongated Boxing Day which begins at 12.30pm with Spurs hosting Brighton, followed by a raft of 3pm games (see pic below, we shan’t name them all), after which Brucie returns to Old Trafford at 5.30pm, and doesn’t conclude until somewhere around 10pm after Leicester and Liverpool get done. And with the lot being available on TV again you could feasibly watch 4 full games back to back. We bloody dare you…

There is a solitary game on Friday evening and that should be a cracker too as Man City go to Wolves.

And just by way of a gentle reminder GW20 then begins the very next day, roughly 14 hours after that final game ends.

  1. Hi all on a wildcard because I’ve got to use it! Any ideas what to change? Upgrade dendonker but to who and keeper to another cheap keeper? Any ideas? Cheers

  2. OK, not much time before the next round starts. 2 FT and 2.3 ITB.
    Need to get Mane and Gabriel must go as very likely Kun will take his place soon.
    Mane and Ings → Mount and Gabriel is 0.5 short.
    The easiest way is to be done with Alli but I don’t want to part with him yet.
    Any suggestions welcome. Prepared to take a hit for the 0.5

    • Drop Dunk down for the extra cash

    • Great team you will have with that transfer Ivan. Wish I had Kane instead of Tammy.
      I think Ings will still score. Maybe not so often, but you never know.

      • That’s true bees. Ings will do well regardless of the fixtures. Spurs and Leicester are leaky, even pool don’t keep many CS. The rest of the games are great and can’t see a better player in that price bracket. Shame he didn’t play full time today.

  3. The eternal question…Mane or Salah?

    • both seems to be the answer for many… not quite sure how to fund it though smile

      • but I think I’ll go for Salah based on recent form and latest fwd positioning, but will wait and see later tonight

    • Raz – did you dare captaining either of them?

      • Never. Not after the last few games where they disappointed. Main problem with young players and teams with young players. You never know when they deliver.

        • This… Exactly this… Had Rash as captain last gw, what a show :wacko:

        • Yeah. ManU started way more offensive than Chelsea. Thus they score. Lampard failing.

  5. Want to bring in Mane for Son, but need to sell TAA for Dunk to fund it. Worth 4ph?

    • Bring in Greenwood for Abraham instead and that solves your benching headache with a move to 352

    • So you know if Dunk will be available to play in the near future? else maybe find a different option smile

    • Bees, Rosco is spot on. That was my other option for my team above. Without taking a hit could go 3-5-2 with Greenwood and replacing Cantwell with Mane. It’s becoming trendy once again and many have done it even with their late WC.

      • Makes sense Ivan…will go this way, even though I get an uncomfortable feeling playing with front 2. Just nonsense really.
        You think it is ok to take a 4ph as I only have 1 FT?

        • Thanks bees. It’s not easy 3-5-2 and it’s only fine when you have strong 5 midds. Thinking again, if I go for it, can I really rely on Mount every GW…. maybe not. Now, looking at Man U tonight new ideas start rolling in my head. The bottom line is, we can’t have it all and have to settle with what we have smile

        • Hehe Dane. How are you? Having a good Christmas? In my country we also have a sort of Boxing Day. The 25th of December we call first Christmas day and today second Christmas day.

        • Same here more or less. Doing good, after three days of family dinners, lunches etc. I’m about as stuffed as the 11pound turkey we had for christmas smile
