Our festive fixtures kick off with an unusually cramped yet elongated Boxing Day which begins at 12.30pm with Spurs hosting Brighton, followed by a raft of 3pm games (see pic below, we shan’t name them all), after which Brucie returns to Old Trafford at 5.30pm, and doesn’t conclude until somewhere around 10pm after Leicester and Liverpool get done. And with the lot being available on TV again you could feasibly watch 4 full games back to back. We bloody dare you…
There is a solitary game on Friday evening and that should be a cracker too as Man City go to Wolves.
And just by way of a gentle reminder GW20 then begins the very next day, roughly 14 hours after that final game ends.

Robbo was obviously outshone tonight but also played really well: 1 BP in a 0–4 win (yet with no direct goal contributions) tells the story of his impact in the final third. It was gripping to watch play unfold from both flanks!
In deed. I have both him and TAA since WC in gw4 and they are not going anywhere. Second cleanie in a row too for good measure.
Great stuff, DMC, and it’s a 3rd consecutive PL clean sheet for Liverpool as a team. If only Klopp hadn’t rested each of them once recently! We’d have been laughing. It bodes well for 2020 onwards, though, definitely.

All that I’ll say — after all, judging by the season thus far, I’m in absolutely no position to help out — is that Abraham’s probably worth keeping. For now. Arsenal are next for Chelsea: that screams goals (from an Arsenal fan!) and they even beat Spurs comfortably last weekend. He’s their spearhead and I was punished for transferring him out when he was orange-flagged.
Jamie Vardy blanked against Liverpool for the first PL match since — yep — Liverpool, away from home, back in GW8 and when he cost just £8.9 for his owners.
Also, if FFFix can still be trusted, this TAA purchase rate looks absolutely insane.
Any ideas what to do here?

Swap Rico with Lundstram, in my opinion. As for transfers, see how he does tonight but Jimenez could go, as could Zaha or Abhraham. Replacements I considered for my team when I looked at doing similar were Martial, Rashford, Kane – Maddison could be a shout too.

Hi all, merry Xmas etc, hope you’re doing well. Standard Xmas FPL for me – a significantly different time zone and a substantial amount of booze means poor decisions made at the wrong time – leading to a drop in rank. Happens every year. Never mind.
Hey Ben – hope you’re having a good time. Don’t freak out about the decisions. Tis but temporary. You’ll come good again. Just pulling my own plane out of a spin too – it seems so difficult when having had good results earlier.
What time zone are you in? You don’t mean another dimension caused by over-consumption do you? Hahaha. Keep a straight bat mate and you’ll get there! Cheers.
Cheers AJW! Having a good time. Normally I’m GMT, but Xmas is GMT + 11 hours. And it’s often also G&T time! Having price rises at 2pm and games kicking off at 2am is confusing but as you say it is temporary and I’m sure I’ll sort it out in January. Hope you’re having a good time!
