Some games may occur, don’t ask us which…

We’ve written and re-written this about four times now this week. Which, quite frankly, is about three times more than we wanted to. We think that the following is about to happen. But in all honesty if it doesn’t, or if it changes again, please feel free to make up your own narrative and pretend that’s what we bothered to write instead because there will be no 5th!

We won’t list the lot (a picture is worth a 1000 words etc) but in short we begin with Wolves vs West Brom at Saturday lunchtime, and then we have 4 more games later on that day, 3 on Sunday, 1 on Monday, 2 on Tuesday, 2 on Wednesday, 1 on Thursday and we eventually conclude a truly long double game-week, over 7 days after it began, on the following Saturday evening at 8pm with Aston Villa v Newcastle. If Villa can be bothered to turn up. 15 or so games in total which means that 11 teams get to play twice. In theory.

    • The worst DGW ever for me. 56 with 6 to go :no:

      • Pretty similar for me Ivan. Not too worried as the strategy for me was not to lose too much ground this week (as soon as I found that so many of my players were going to be in SGW matches).
        Don’t worry – the only way is up! smile

    • 98-4 with 10 to go. Monster week for me

    • 38 with 4 to go. By far my worst week.

    • 88 with 5 to go.

    • 94 with 6 to go inc KDB TC smile

    • 77 with 6 to go, including triple capo KDB. Hoping for big things from him against Villa

      • As tc even the 1 goal and a very BP pay off big time

    • 77 with 8 to go. KDB(c),Stones,Cancelo,Robbo,Salah,Bruno and Martinez & Grealish to play twice.

      • 97 (-8) with 7 to go and kdb tc. If every gameweek could be like this :cool2:

    • 200 with 15 to go. Any good?

    • 84 with 6 to go. Captain kdb included in them

      • 98 – 8, on a bench boost. KDB captain. Finally starting to climb from 2million sad

  3. 87 – 4 with 7 to go. Not bad.

  4. Morning all. Hope you are seeing green arrows! Has this been the longest GW or does it just feel like that for everyone?

  5. With Villa Newcastle slipped in due to them being out the cup, let’s keep an eye on midweek in GW23 for slotting in any further catch-up fixtures where teams have been eliminated from the cup. This weekend should give us a clue what may be possible.

  6. Anyone thinking of getting Matheus Pereira for FUL & SHU after their City game?

    • Half considering him on for soucek if he blanks again
