Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 19
Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 19
Some games may occur, don’t ask us which…
We’ve written and re-written this about four times now this week. Which, quite frankly, is about three times more than we wanted to. We think that the following is about to happen. But in all honesty if it doesn’t, or if it changes again, please feel free to make up your own narrative and pretend that’s what we bothered to write instead because there will be no 5th!
We won’t list the lot (a picture is worth a 1000 words etc) but in short we begin with Wolves vs West Brom at Saturday lunchtime, and then we have 4 more games later on that day, 3 on Sunday, 1 on Monday, 2 on Tuesday, 2 on Wednesday, 1 on Thursday and we eventually conclude a truly long double game-week, over 7 days after it began, on the following Saturday evening at 8pm with Aston Villa v Newcastle. If Villa can be bothered to turn up. 15 or so games in total which means that 11 teams get to play twice. In theory.
Here is the GW in all its glory;

Right, c’mon the Hammers (well Cresswell especially, but also Soucek for us all)!
What about your new obsession Antonio? First time you’ve not mentioned him all day!
Just scored :big-lol:
You’re brilliant Cookie
Bet he gets four
Note to self, ignore cookie lol.
If only Fornals had passed it back to Cresswell, Soucek was in a great position…
Bigperm, you should know by now I’m only here for the comedy
You’re our Albanian Norman Wisdom…
Been called a lot worse so I’ll take that!
Probably needs context that. Comment 21 on the last article from memory.

:good:
DISALLOWED GOAL
West Ham 1-0 Burnley
Oooh, Aaron Cresswell has his blushes spared after what would have been quite an outrageous own goal is ruled out because of offside in the buildup.
Cresswell flicked Chris Wood’s cross into his own net but the linesman’s flag comes to his rescue.
BB gone completely down the tube with both GK options likely having covid problems. OH well, it’s only a game and these things happen in this climate.
Same mosc. Told the wife the bad news. She looked at me oddly. Have to drop her later to the garage to collect her car so can’t even have a beer. Note to self: get more beer.
Leeds cs gone too now. Yep I had double Leeds defence.
Antoniooooooo
Antonio is a trap lol
I did say I could be wrong
Yeah don’t worry Cookster – you still have time to be right! Antonio red card for simulating a hamstring injury in front of the penalty area – then sent off only for everyone to realise he wasn’t simulating, but too late! No second match!
Oops, don’t want to be too silly here, as I have him too (have done since GW 16 – in preparation for this sh***storm of a FDGW!)
Hey no worries everyone, I was just trying to be funny!!!
See ya round dudes!
AJW, I’m relaxed my friend (obviously I’m not and wished I had bought him!!).
It’s a victory if you reset your DGW goal to lose miserably to your son’s team (which I imagine OBVIOUSLY contains Antonio, KDB and all the usual gang?).
The solution is …imbibe! I’m only imbibing tea, coffee & ‘Champomy’ (you know that fizzy-apple-juice-fake-‘champagne’, so that French kids can pretend they’re having an ‘apéro’ with their parents!) because of ‘Dry January’ (otherwise known as ’31 days for AJW’s liver to dry out and finally take a breather!’).
Have a good one Cookster, and don’t go hanging around public parks looking for you-know-who at half time – you might get mugged by a bunch of goal-maddened West Ham fans!
Nice start
Me too. After loooooooonnng
No it’s not :help:
At least Brighton have scored 😉
Yes that IS something – I imagine the entire Brighton-Hove area are organizing a ticker tape parade for their returning heroes tonight (from the comfort of their own seaside terrace-house balconies!)?
Come on Maupay!!!
seaside terrace-house balconies made me smile. A lot of HMOs, flats, and the Royal Sussex County Hospital just lurking behind…
