Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 19

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 19. Our Christmas fun really turns up the heat this week with a 2-day game-week, a Friday start and a 9 game bonanza on Saturday. Our Friday kick off promises goals and points as Arsenal host free-scoring Liverpool at the Emirates. Saturday is about as full-on as we get in FPL. Chelsea and Everton kick us off at lunchtime when they meet at Goodison. Six 3pm matches follow as Brighton host Watford, Bournemouth take the daunting trip to Man City, Huddersfield take the long trek to Southampton, Stoke host West Brom and Swansea host Palace.

We still have two matches to go. The early evening match up sees Spurs go to Burnley before Leicester host Man Utd.

Plenty to enjoy and you still have Sunday to finish your shopping!

Anyone watching the game now? Is Lingard worth bringing in for Richarlison?

He has looked good. I always worry about him keeping his place

I brought Lingard in this week, SAF. Never paid him much mind before but his price and recent form are getting tough to ignore. He’s fast as hell and was basically playing as a second striker, in the box with Lukaku all the time. If he hadn’t hit the post right before he came off on 75 mins he would have been on 10 points plus probably 3 BPS. The main risk with him will his minutes, but he’s started the last 6 matches and usually comes off around 70-80 minutes so he should be fairly fresh. As long as he can keep his spot I think he’s a great value pick.

Thanks for the info Red. I haven’t seen much of him live but he seems to be in Jose’s plans now and gets a regular outing. Richarlison was golden but had just lost it this past few weeks.

Question would you use the case to do Mariappa > Kenny or Mustafi > Christensen / Ot

        • SAFs_hairdryer says:

          Was supposed to say Otamendi.

        • RedVT says:

Not sure what the rest of your defense looks like but I’d be looking to have a playing bench that can survive any rotation/injury surprises through the busy holiday schedule. Kenny looks great value but then again so does Christensen for a Chelsea defender! I’d replace whichever of Mariappa/Mustafi you think is less likely to play.

So had DDG, sold him for Courtois on wc a few weeks back, he started pissing me off and DDG was killing it so switched back. Guess what happened next?

Hi , anyone knows if the points are tied (after hit points) with your rival in the cup, what is the second factor to decide who goes through?
