None of that Friday night nonsense this week. Our game-week kicks off at lunchtime on Saturday with Cardiff hosting Newcastle, a game that has relegation 6 pointer written all over it. We then have four games at the traditional kick off time of 3pm. Everton entertain Southampton. It’s a battle of the animals at The King Power stadium as the Foxes host Wolves. It’s an all London affair with Spurs playing host to Fulham, while Bournemouth travel to West Ham. Saturday is brought to a conclusion with the game of the weekend when Chelsea host Arsenal at 5:30pm.

Sunday brings us another three games. Burnley host Watford in a game that is unlikely to cure any hangovers. Huddersfield will be hoping to improve on their opening day result but that’s unlikely as they entertain Manchester City. If you’re still hungover come 4pm you might as well switch off the TV as Brighton host Jose and his merry men.

Our game-week is brought to an end with the first Monday Night Football of the season and it has the potential to be a cracker as Liverpool travel to London to face Crystal Palace.

Our Regulars League* for 2018/19 is now open and has a cash prize pool of £300 paid directly to the winners from the FF247 management team. The first 5 places are paid out in a tiered system.

To enter this one you need to be an active and recognised site member and you need to e-mail us for the league code – elleffcee@gmail.com

*terms and conditions apply and are available upon request. Management reserve the right to review membership of this league on an ongoing basis. If you enter and win a prize you have to have commented on the site at least 5 times for 8 consecutive months between August 2018 and March 2019 or you will not be considered for a prize. That’s basically 1 comment a week all season, we think that’s a reasonable ask to be considered a ‘regular’.

  1. Jota & King to Moura & Wilson?

    • Those transfers sound good, but wait until we’ve gone through all the games first

      • Won’t be able to afford them after Wilson rises tonight. Actually thinking Mkhi might be a better option than Moura, largely based on fixtures.

        • Arsenal do have some great fixtures coming up and you have the bonus that they’re playing before tonight

        • Jota to Fraser and King to Ings would be nice banjo.

        • Thanks GP. Jota to Fraser is interesting. I think that’d leave me being able to afford 7.0 on a striker. I won’t consider Ings, or anyone else from that lot 😉

  2. I’m disappointed, my team is poor, everyone in my work league has either Mane and/or Richarlison.
    I missed the chance to Erikson > Mane last week and now I cannot afford him, Richarlison looks like he’s a must have and I regret getting Aubameyang in.
    My current team, 1 FT £0m ITB sad

  5. I’m well and truly ready to rage quit this season!! In only 2 weeks, KDB has gotten injured, going with Boly instead of Steve Cook has cost me a CS, Goal and an assist and now Eriksen isn’t taking free kicks but a defender is and scores the bloody thing.
