Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 2
None of that Friday night nonsense this week. Our game-week kicks off at lunchtime on Saturday with Cardiff hosting Newcastle, a game that has relegation 6 pointer written all over it. We then have four games at the traditional kick off time of 3pm. Everton entertain Southampton. It’s a battle of the animals at The King Power stadium as the Foxes host Wolves. It’s an all London affair with Spurs playing host to Fulham, while Bournemouth travel to West Ham. Saturday is brought to a conclusion with the game of the weekend when Chelsea host Arsenal at 5:30pm.
Sunday brings us another three games. Burnley host Watford in a game that is unlikely to cure any hangovers. Huddersfield will be hoping to improve on their opening day result but that’s unlikely as they entertain Manchester City. If you’re still hungover come 4pm you might as well switch off the TV as Brighton host Jose and his merry men.
Our game-week is brought to an end with the first Monday Night Football of the season and it has the potential to be a cracker as Liverpool travel to London to face Crystal Palace.

Do I stick with this lot for GW3 so I have 2 FT for GW4 or is there a move I should be considering?
Hey Mitro, you’ve got a good team – personally, I would hold on and accumulate 2FTs for GW4 and then see how things are going. Remember that it’s the beginning of the season & funny things happen in the first few rounds. You have a solid base for doing well this season – give your players a chance to perform for you. Not sure if you are concerned about TV (I know some are, some not) but fff forecasting king to decrease tonight. Could be an option if you wanted to free up funds to strengthen your bench. However not really required as you have a strong team.
Hi all, I’m pretty happy with what I have but feel like getting Alonso in would be an improvement. Looking at Daniels & Firmino > Alonso & Arnie. Any better options?
I’m watching the Kun developments today relatively closely. Kun to Arnie will give you riches beyond your dreams if it looks like Kun is going to be chopped and changed regularly.

Spurs got some bad fixtures ahead so I’d try to replace Davies with Alonso, but you’ll have to free up 0,5 for that move.
Maybe pickford to fabianski or something..
Or Eriksen to mikhi of course….

With this side I’d be more worried about Lacazette’s lack of minutes than anything else. I’d want someone in that spot who is starting games: I don’t think L has started either of Arsenal’s so far. Maybe one more week to assess – the season is still very young – but I’d be looking to tidy things up on that front before other moves.

Having brought in Silva for Sanchez, I have 3m extra in my budget, and wondering whether I should slowly reinvest it, or use my wildcard to do so.
I’m thinking Bailly, TAA, and Ederson out for DDG, Mendy, and Robertson.
If I used wildcard I would improve my bench as well which is currently just the cheapest players who play.
If I do it week by week with free transfers, my concern is that because I have three Man City players, I would have to wait another two weeks to bring in Mendy (so I can get rid of Ederson first). By then his value could have increased even more so that it already has!
Any thoughts?

No need to wild card. I understand 3 mil is burning a hole in your pocket but wait.the move I would look to make is upgrade hojbjerg to Miki.
Had not considered this, but quite like it. Limits the amount of premier defenders I can afford, but provides me the option of four in midfield!
As good as ddg is I’d think you’d be mad to drop Ederson with his next 6 games in mind.
