Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 2
None of that Friday night nonsense this week. Our game-week kicks off at lunchtime on Saturday with Cardiff hosting Newcastle, a game that has relegation 6 pointer written all over it. We then have four games at the traditional kick off time of 3pm. Everton entertain Southampton. It’s a battle of the animals at The King Power stadium as the Foxes host Wolves. It’s an all London affair with Spurs playing host to Fulham, while Bournemouth travel to West Ham. Saturday is brought to a conclusion with the game of the weekend when Chelsea host Arsenal at 5:30pm.
Sunday brings us another three games. Burnley host Watford in a game that is unlikely to cure any hangovers. Huddersfield will be hoping to improve on their opening day result but that’s unlikely as they entertain Manchester City. If you’re still hungover come 4pm you might as well switch off the TV as Brighton host Jose and his merry men.
Our game-week is brought to an end with the first Monday Night Football of the season and it has the potential to be a cracker as Liverpool travel to London to face Crystal Palace.

I know it won’t last but I have enjoyed these 2 GWs so far! Last week was 79 and I’m currently on on 77 with salah, Robertson and wan Bissaka to go! Fingers crossed I can get back where I belong 😉
Wow that’s some start
So that’s a good cappo choice with Kun producing 40 points. I had him when he got 50 against Newcastle .Not sure on that but when he does the biz its certain you should be on the band for him and the next few games looks like he has the armband if you have him with Salah as vice in case of Peptation.
I have two free transfers. Might even go early. Guessing Jota, Mahrez and King need to go. King has a home game so might be ok for another week
There’s nothing to suggest Mahrez won’t play the next one, he’s probably even more likely to now having sat this one. I’d deal with Jota and Shaw as more of a priority this week.
I agree — i.e. keep Mahrez — but you could probably bench Shaw (which init won’t condone 😉 sorry) for AWB and focus on refreshing your attacking septet.
Bench him by all means, Jose probably will too
Shaw looked good today. While Young really did not look good. Not sure on Mahrez he’s not looked great.
Jota to Mkhy and Mahrez to Dilva?
That’s what I’m looking at
Jota -> Bernardo Silva
Sanchez -> Mane
Good moves? Should I pull the trigger now? I’ve 0.5 in the bank and 2 FT. I want to do it today because Jota price is projected to fall, Sanchez price to fall and Mane price to rise. I would not be able to afford these moves if all these price changes happen. Worth taking the risk and going early with the transfers?
Jota to Mkhy instead?
I’d be more comfortable with this, especially if it meant you weren’t having to go early. Should also give you a bit more cash flex to deal with King or your keeper as and when you want to.
I’d recommend Mkhi to managers without Auba too.
Yeah, I’d go for D silva and Mkhitarian.
Liverpool fixtures are quite tough from GW4 – Salah and one other is enough imo.
Hello all, hope your GW is not as bad as mine.
Have 2FTs. How is Bavies + Jota -> Alonso + Frasier
Or is getting rid of King a priority? Was thinking King may be the one banging them in next.
Ederson
Robertson Bavies Mendy
Salah Mane Richalison Jota
Zaha Aguero King
Boruc Peltier Stephens Wan-Bissa
Seems fine enough, as long as there is a King plan after next week?
Will see after the GW. Nice score you have!
Not necessarily a bad move but my concern would be having so many premium defenders. I’m go for someone a bit cheaper to give yourself more wiggle room in midfield/up front over the next few weeks.
Maybe Pereira, Luiz or Bellerin. Or someone even cheaper to rotate with Wan-B (say a Watford player or something).
Is Joselu a regular starter? Need a cheapo (5m) that starts.
Can’t see it lasting he’s awful think you need to go 5.5
