Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 2
None of that Friday night nonsense this week. Our game-week kicks off at lunchtime on Saturday with Cardiff hosting Newcastle, a game that has relegation 6 pointer written all over it. We then have four games at the traditional kick off time of 3pm. Everton entertain Southampton. It’s a battle of the animals at The King Power stadium as the Foxes host Wolves. It’s an all London affair with Spurs playing host to Fulham, while Bournemouth travel to West Ham. Saturday is brought to a conclusion with the game of the weekend when Chelsea host Arsenal at 5:30pm.
Sunday brings us another three games. Burnley host Watford in a game that is unlikely to cure any hangovers. Huddersfield will be hoping to improve on their opening day result but that’s unlikely as they entertain Manchester City. If you’re still hungover come 4pm you might as well switch off the TV as Brighton host Jose and his merry men.
Our game-week is brought to an end with the first Monday Night Football of the season and it has the potential to be a cracker as Liverpool travel to London to face Crystal Palace.

After today I’m even more so desperate for Mendy, which unfortunately means the early wildcard.
The two attached photos include my possible wildcard transfers and my current squad. I think all those changes will make the squad better both in terms of depth and starting xi.
I should also add I would probably swap Peltier out for Bennett.
Everyone earlier was against my wildcard, but having seen this possibility, I’m even more keen now.
Having seen these options, do you still think it’s still a bad idea?
Using free transfers alone I probably wouldn’t afford the team as the price rises wouldn’t allow it.

I would do Hojberg->Mkhi/Pedro and Bailly->Mendy. Don’t think the rest are worth a hit
Already got another two Man City players! So would need to be Silva out Mkhi in, Bailly out Mendy in.
Only way I see avoiding the wildcard!
What’s the alternative? Can you not manoeuvre Mendy in there some other way? I’m sure you probably can.

Do you think Davies->Alonso is worth a -4? Given their fixtures it could pay off
I did exactly that whilst drunk last night. Im guessing the consensus will tell you it’s not worth a hit, but I’m hoping it is! An Alonso price rise would mean I couldn’t afford it, hence why I went early. If you can wait I probably would.

Will definitely do it for GW4 but will see how tomorrow goes before deciding this week.
Robertson has a good fixture in GW3. Hopefully Mendy doesn’t increase tonight.
I think I’d want both, but if I had to choose it would 100% be Mendy. I’d have him for £7m 😆
