Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 2

None of that Friday night nonsense this week. Our game-week kicks off at lunchtime on Saturday with Cardiff hosting Newcastle, a game that has relegation 6 pointer written all over it. We then have four games at the traditional kick off time of 3pm. Everton entertain Southampton. It’s a battle of the animals at The King Power stadium as the Foxes host Wolves. It’s an all London affair with Spurs playing host to Fulham, while Bournemouth travel to West Ham. Saturday is brought to a conclusion with the game of the weekend when Chelsea host Arsenal at 5:30pm.

Sunday brings us another three games. Burnley host Watford in a game that is unlikely to cure any hangovers. Huddersfield will be hoping to improve on their opening day result but that’s unlikely as they entertain Manchester City. If you’re still hungover come 4pm you might as well switch off the TV as Brighton host Jose and his merry men.

Our game-week is brought to an end with the first Monday Night Football of the season and it has the potential to be a cracker as Liverpool travel to London to face Crystal Palace.

One more question gang. Eriksen and Cairney to Dilva and Pedro? Or Eriksen and Luiz to Dilva and Alonso?

Cheers Brookyboy and Keethan for your advice on the previous page. What do you think to Doherty and Sane to Pedro and Mendy? Leaves £1.4m in the bank.

Looks like Sane is going down, while Pedro and Mandy are going up, so it’d be good to make the changes tonight. Even with him going down in price tonight, I’ll give King one more chance and then he’s definitely out if he does nothing against Everton. Zanka is meant to be back for next week, according to FPL at least, and he’s more likely to score when injured compared to Doherty against Man City anyway (famous last words).

Did anyone watch the City game? Is Bilva likely to see his points return drop with his new position or just a case of being unlucky this time around?

I was furtively listening when I got the opportunity. In betwen the prattle I gathered that he wasn’t getting in the box much. Loads of corners. I think he created a half chance or two.

But someone who actually saw the game would have a better idea.

He could have had a few goals! Just unlucky. He’s looking really silently deadly atm

      • Kralin says:

He’s definitely staying in my team. Two games, two starts. Who could want more from a City player?

        • roccerfeller says:

          Agreed!
There was one goal chance that I was sure was in the net but the replay showed he didn’t get a good foot on it and the tender was able to make an easy save as a result

Tell em to pop down to the ‘Bottle-oh’ to get a slab (ie; go down to the Off licence to get a carton of beers!) – that will gain you a bit of peace & quiet for about half an hour! And to pick up a few ‘mystery bags’ from the butcher’s (ie. sausages!) – don’t forget to congratulate them by saying ‘You beaut, mate!’ Have all but lost my Strine (as well as Barbie etiquette), but am an ex boy from the bush, living on the continent. If I can be of any help translating, no wuckers (ie. No wucking furries!) mate! By the way, I spent all last year with Aguero in my team (as well as Raheem & Ota!), often with the captain’s armband on, but this year have opted for the Big 3 from Liverpool – am waiting for it to pay ‘big time’, but have to admit that I gave a strangled ‘gulp’ while listening to the results on BBC World in my car this arvo! 40 points for the captaincy! But I’m sticking strong to my Pool-based strategy. No panic! I may well live to regret it later on in the season! Cheerio pal! smile
