Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 2

None of that Friday night nonsense this week. Our game-week kicks off at lunchtime on Saturday with Cardiff hosting Newcastle, a game that has relegation 6 pointer written all over it. We then have four games at the traditional kick off time of 3pm. Everton entertain Southampton. It’s a battle of the animals at The King Power stadium as the Foxes host Wolves. It’s an all London affair with Spurs playing host to Fulham, while Bournemouth travel to West Ham. Saturday is brought to a conclusion with the game of the weekend when Chelsea host Arsenal at 5:30pm.

Sunday brings us another three games. Burnley host Watford in a game that is unlikely to cure any hangovers. Huddersfield will be hoping to improve on their opening day result but that’s unlikely as they entertain Manchester City. If you’re still hungover come 4pm you might as well switch off the TV as Brighton host Jose and his merry men.

Our game-week is brought to an end with the first Monday Night Football of the season and it has the potential to be a cracker as Liverpool travel to London to face Crystal Palace.

On 59 points with Salah, Robertson, Zaha and Van Aanholt to come. Already did 2 transfers but I am thinking about bringing in Alonso for Robertson for a hit, hmm!

Mendy has been involved in 50% of city goals over the 2 games. Has had a shot or 2 on target in both of the games as well. I know Alonso out scored him this week. But how they list the cs was shocking. If you ask me he’s the most have defender !

    Last time …promise!!
As many opinions as possible please cos I’m struggling with this and not long left!!
9 points ahead in my big cash ml so little bit of room to manoeuvre!!
    Gotta do tonight but thinking:
1-Firmino/Shaw to Arnie/Alonso: Shaw v Spurs next week/likely to get dropped next few weeks – Alonso next 4 nice and nailed + very attacking /Firmino v Brighton but get worse in gw5 while Arnie v Arsenal next but next 2 nice! Leaves £1m itb to do Pickford to DeGea or upgrade elsewhere next week!?
2-Firmino/Peltier to Arnie/Alonso: as above but will have someone £6.5+ sitting on bench each week, decent rotation option/benching headache no money left for Pickford to DDG etc!?
Lastly if I do 1 or 2 is it worth a -4 to swap Hudson-Odei before his price drops and stuck with him ….Westwood?!?
    Cheers

Lost me with the 6.5 sat on the bench in the second scenario, who’s that and where do they come in to the equation?

Do that last one for a -4 and I might well lose it Falling Down style 😉

Don’t go all Micheal Douglas on me …please!! Watched that other day and often worry It’s how I’ll end up!!
Yeah sorry Init probably getting too detailed but option 2 gives me 12/13 solid options so would end up sitting one on bench each week (ie Arnie/Bilva/Mkhi etc) instead of Peltier sitting there doing nothing! Option 1 gives me an (even stronger) solid 11 so no real benching decisions to make
