Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 2

None of that Friday night nonsense this week. Our game-week kicks off at lunchtime on Saturday with Cardiff hosting Newcastle, a game that has relegation 6 pointer written all over it. We then have four games at the traditional kick off time of 3pm. Everton entertain Southampton. It’s a battle of the animals at The King Power stadium as the Foxes host Wolves. It’s an all London affair with Spurs playing host to Fulham, while Bournemouth travel to West Ham. Saturday is brought to a conclusion with the game of the weekend when Chelsea host Arsenal at 5:30pm.

Sunday brings us another three games. Burnley host Watford in a game that is unlikely to cure any hangovers. Huddersfield will be hoping to improve on their opening day result but that’s unlikely as they entertain Manchester City. If you’re still hungover come 4pm you might as well switch off the TV as Brighton host Jose and his merry men.

Our game-week is brought to an end with the first Monday Night Football of the season and it has the potential to be a cracker as Liverpool travel to London to face Crystal Palace.

It seems Eriksen needs more time, so Eriksen to Salah for gameweek 3. I think Salah will be the best captain option!

    Morning

Looks like I need to get rid of king, who is the better option? Ings or Mitrovic?

      Kralin says:

Mitrovic for me. Not tempted to give King another week? Nice open game incoming.

I may shift him as well though, with Zaha favourite for me. But Mitrovic interests me too.

Funny thing is that I still think that King is better than Ings or Mitrovic. Yeah, its been the Wilson show for now but that may change.

However between Ings or Mitrovic, I would go cheapest with Ings and upgrade elsewhere with the extra pesos.

      • Kralin says:

Yeah, I’m thinking two games isn’t enough time for him. Plus for 6.5 you can’t expect miracles. I’m more inclined at this moment to keep him for another week. I was surprised his price didn’t fall last night.

        • I used my 2FT for Bavies + Jota -> Alonso + Frasier

          Ederson
          Robertson Alonso Mendy
          Salah Mane Richalison Frasier
          Zaha Aguero King

I will bear the King price drop and give him another week

Kind of debating the same thing. Mitrovic has had good stats I believe. I prefer your team to mine though Mitro. Also looking at Mkhi and B Silva

Get a 4,5 forward and get rid of tomkins to replace him with alonso, he’ll propably outscore any 6,5 forward…

      AK47 says:

I am considering Mitrovic but may go Zaha. Mitro looked dangerous against Spurs. Hit the post in the first half with a chance he made him self with strong hold up play, doesn’t look out of his depth at all.

I have the same “problem” I think I will hold on to King one more week and hope he will get some points.

    Morning all!
78 points with Salah, Mane and Robertson still to play… relieved I kept Aguero as captain!

I made a double transfer last night to beat the price-rises: Shaw and Tosun OUT, Alonso and Ings IN. What are your thoughts?

Here’s how my team is shaping up for GW3:

Morning lads.. had another decent enough week. Still got 3 Pool players to play.. BUT want my transfers done early this week as I feel Eriksen who I’ve transferred already to Hazard price will drop. Also need a hand with leeper choices.. got 0.5 in the bank and another transfer free. Patricio isn’t doing it for me plus he’s got City next.. shocker. Do I change him for a 5m keeper or pick another 4.5 keeper and keep him as rotation? Only decent looking 5m keeper with good fixtures is Cech? Does anyone know if he is likely to keep his place? If not I’ll probably go for McCarthy as another 4.5 option..

      RedKev says:

Cech looks like he wants to keep his place and has made some good saves in the last couple of games, only problem is Emery is trying to get them playing from the back and Cech has not looked comfortable with the ball at his feet. With Leno costing £22m and more comfortable on the ball there could easily be rotation. Only other options at £5m are Pickford and Schmeichel …good fixtures but neither the most trusted of defences.

Hennessey at Crystal Palace looks a good option

    morning all,
    3.5m itb with 1ft
thinking digne > alonso this week, leaves 2m over
    any other suggestions?

      Schneiderling to Pedro.
I believe most people will try to get either Alonso or Pedro in to their team this week.
Regardless of which one you do I would consider it a good transfer
