Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 2

None of that Friday night nonsense this week. Our game-week kicks off at lunchtime on Saturday with Cardiff hosting Newcastle, a game that has relegation 6 pointer written all over it. We then have four games at the traditional kick off time of 3pm. Everton entertain Southampton. It’s a battle of the animals at The King Power stadium as the Foxes host Wolves. It’s an all London affair with Spurs playing host to Fulham, while Bournemouth travel to West Ham. Saturday is brought to a conclusion with the game of the weekend when Chelsea host Arsenal at 5:30pm.

Sunday brings us another three games. Burnley host Watford in a game that is unlikely to cure any hangovers. Huddersfield will be hoping to improve on their opening day result but that’s unlikely as they entertain Manchester City. If you’re still hungover come 4pm you might as well switch off the TV as Brighton host Jose and his merry men.

Our game-week is brought to an end with the first Monday Night Football of the season and it has the potential to be a cracker as Liverpool travel to London to face Crystal Palace.

    Can anyone add to my David v Bernardo debate please:

    David;
    Pros – good ‘form’, low ownership so will rise quickly, had a rest so probably safe short term, proven goals and assists will be an asset to cover loss of kbd
    Cons – more expensive, older so might need more rest, messes up my mendy plans

    Bernardo;
    Pros – cheaper and fits my other transfer plans, good goal and assist record for minutes played, positive comments from Pep, younger so shouldn’t have fitness issues
    Cons – played 2 in a row so maybe due a rest, bandwagon could fall apart if he doesn’t deliver 2 weeks in a row, played right wing back

      To be honest I would drop both atm.
      Mendy and Aguero for city cover
      Ederson if you want all 3.

      I’m going without City mids for now until we know more. Logic says that Dilva should be more nailed now with KDB out as Pep will want a dominant ball player in there to dictate the play / rhythm. As ‘fall back’ guys go he’s about as good as you could ever wish for.

    Whom would you consider for better points return for next 5 GWs
    Luiz or Monreal!
    Nice fixtures for both.

    Amazingly had a great start this year. Presently top of FF247 regulars league and other mini leagues…never ever I thought I would be even close to the top…thanks to so many inputs and great articles by you guys..:p
    Need a suggestion. I had Mikhi in my line up…he gave some points in gw2. Was planning to change him to Pogba after this GW2. Shall I hold on to him or lose him to get in Pogba? Or wait and give him one more GW.?
    Thanks and cheers.

    Looking at an early move this week as price changes are happening fast.
    Should I do Moura to miki both have a fixture chance bad for spurs good for Ars.
    Or should I do Coleman to Monreal or Bellerín and play them over ralls?

    Have 2ft. But pretty sure I only need the 1 too early to double up on ars. I had planed on doing kun to auba smile but I’ll hold off on that for now lol

      I’d probably be looking to bring in Mkhi. If Ralls is ever gonna score for you it’s against Huddersfield, so maybe give him another week. Nice team btw.

      • Gavy says:

        Cheers banjo. Could call, ralls looked ok in the last match. Last chance though. Should I use the 2nd ft and lose king or is he worth 1 more punt?

        • banjomaker says:

          I’m not sure it’s imperative to lose King this week. That said, I’ve already done a triple transfer and got rid! 😉 if you can resist you’ll have loads more options next week.
