Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 2
None of that Friday night nonsense this week. Our game-week kicks off at lunchtime on Saturday with Cardiff hosting Newcastle, a game that has relegation 6 pointer written all over it. We then have four games at the traditional kick off time of 3pm. Everton entertain Southampton. It’s a battle of the animals at The King Power stadium as the Foxes host Wolves. It’s an all London affair with Spurs playing host to Fulham, while Bournemouth travel to West Ham. Saturday is brought to a conclusion with the game of the weekend when Chelsea host Arsenal at 5:30pm.
Sunday brings us another three games. Burnley host Watford in a game that is unlikely to cure any hangovers. Huddersfield will be hoping to improve on their opening day result but that’s unlikely as they entertain Manchester City. If you’re still hungover come 4pm you might as well switch off the TV as Brighton host Jose and his merry men.
Our game-week is brought to an end with the first Monday Night Football of the season and it has the potential to be a cracker as Liverpool travel to London to face Crystal Palace.

EBC
Anyone watching the cardiff game? What’s the verdict on Ralls?
He could be workly his way out of my team.
Pancho
Good set piece delivery, but no one else is offering him anything…
EBC
Just hope Fraser doesn’t do anything.
After almost picking him in the first place, I almost transferred him in this week.
Smash
Cardiff are not going to score many goals that’s the problem
Titleastic
Yes in a team that offered more generally he could be great value as his delivery is good… but I fear Cardiff will be awful and convert few chances.
Pancho
Interesting that Spurs go back to a back 3 with wingbacks. I like it! Mostly because it means Sissoko isn’t starting 😎
Smash
When Son is not around it kind of makes sense.
Pancho
Newcastle penalty
Kenedy to take
Saved!
Gallant Pioneer (@MitchellC_FF247)
He’s saved two penalties in two weeks.
VanDan
haha that was one awful penalty befitting the game perfectly. Now 3 million managers will be buying Etheridge lol
EBC
It’s crazy that the penalty save was essentially worth 12 points.
Smash
2 pen saves is insane
Pancho
Terrible penalty!
Now he’s going to sit out for 3 matches with a ban and have to think about that…
GoalMachine
He had the worst match and I don’t know why was he sent to take the PK after such a poor display for 90 mins…. Ritchie should have been there.
Pancho
Ritchie came off
Joselu probably should have taken it, or Shelvey.
colonial
Cardiff – Newcastle – what a terrible match , both belong in the Championship IMO
Kralin
Ings and Austin both starting has roused me out of my Saturday afternoon torpor.
VanDan
Good morning, doesn’t take much eh? lol
Kralin
No, sadly.
That’s about as exciting as it gets for me until the nurse pushes my Bath chair back into the drawing room, in case I get a chill.
VanDan
The outdoors are dangerous, I close the windows and open Dostoyevsky.
Kralin
Very wise. Can’t beat a bit of 19th Century Russian Literature.
Raskolnikov (or Stavrogin) would have played a mean fantasy game.
paulers23
Awful game by Kenedy! Why did I buy him!?
Kralin
Bad luck.
There wasn’t a lot around at that price, was there? I had him in my draft side for ages.
You can have a nice long pleasurable rage transfer to get it out of your system.
paulers23
You’re right, there wasn’t. I thought it was going to be the perfect ending with him scoring and now I’m just disappointed I guess. Hope Neves doesn’t have a great game and I’ll feel better about my choice
Kralin
If it’s any consolation I went with Hughes of Watford.
I switched between Kenedy-Neves-Hughes.
Newcastle’s fixtures pick up in a bit.
VanDan
He should improve as season progresses, one of the best 5.0 out there.
