Evening all. Got 2ft what would u do with this lot?
banjomaker
I don’t think major work is required here. It’s a pretty solid team. I’d be looking to shift J-Rod & Ince I think. Chica would be nice, but would leave sod all for an ince replacement. See below post about midfielders for 6.0 or less 😉
man u man
Hey guys, how are things going. I’ve 58 with two players to go. Anyway I’m thinking of replacing Richie with Mooy. What’s the thinking, should I get someone else maybe for 6 or under? Cheers guys.
banjomaker
I was just about to ask a similar question about a Ritchie replacement! Newcastle looking shocking today. Richarlison & Jese were on my list. What do other people think? My gut feeling is that Mooy (and Huddersfield) will dry up.
banjomaker
Nice score btw
man u man
Cheers Banjo. If I get Mooy it would allow me to upgrade one of my non playing defenders on the bench.
banjomaker
Ah, I can certainly see the appeal there then. Both Richarlison & Jese look really promising, but both seem a tad risky. At least we know Mooy will play every week! I’m in a different position, where I’ve actually got 7.0 for a Ritchie replacement, but the best value seems to be at 5.5/6.0, which would leave me funds for Jesus to Kun, depending how tomorrow night goes!
Gavy
Changes I am thinking about for next week. Both free up funds. So just a few points be nice. A
Gavy
B
banjomaker
I prefer B, Gavy.
Mitro
Thoughts on this?
banjomaker
Mouthwatering attack, but that defense is too weak for me. I’d hate to have to play Newcastle or Huddersfield defense every week. I’d probably downgrade Pogba or Ramsey to free some funds.
Mitro
Defo want pogba so maybe I could downgrade Rambo! Really thought he should have scored against Stoke!
If I had an extra 0.1 i could have this
TheDreamers
Mitro – decide the formation and you can mainly have that – sacrifice a mid of a striker
TheDreamers
if i was wildcarding, Pogba would be in it.
Salah and Ramsey would be “maybe’s” allowing the defence to improve
banjomaker
I’m probably wrong, but I’m still not convinced by Pogba. Personally, I’d prefer Salah, providing Lukaku is in the team.
inittowinit
Pogba would be in there for sure.
banjomaker
Sounds like I’m on my own here 😉
inittowinit
Might be the meds mate
banjomaker
Also not a huge fan of doubling up on baggies defense every week.
inittowinit
If I was WC’ding right now I’d have Spurs & Chelsea defence covered (for the long haul) and I’d have Erik / Alli in there.
The Gallant Pioneer (@MitchellC_FF247)
Sounds like you’re contemplating’ it’ Init! 😉
inittowinit
I’m not.
The Gallant Pioneer (@MitchellC_FF247)
Boring.
inittowinit
I’m not playing for your entertainment!
The Gallant Pioneer (@MitchellC_FF247)
Thank goodness.
inittowinit
Indeed. I’m a boring player relative to some on here! Thank goodness for Mitro eh
Calvin Clyne
+1. How serious was the Tripper injury do you know? He was on a super-highway to my team until word of that came out…
inittowinit
Hey CC. Serious question- who did you reply to then?! The comment layout has changed again tonight (unexpectedly) and I’m still struggling to make head nor tail of it.
Calvin Clyne
That was to you sir, when you said about getting Chelsea and Spurs coverage.
Shadow
Another early transfer for me I think, Adam Smith out for Hegazi, no brainier and frees up 0.4m more cash?
Shadow
Current team..
banjomaker
That’s probably the move I’d be doing. I assume Zaha is back soon?
The Gallant Pioneer (@MitchellC_FF247)
He isn’t according to the general consensus. Tidy up Zaha as priority I think. Await news on him this week at least.
banjomaker
Ahh, in which case I agree with you GP!
Shadow
Yeh well I was thinking of maybe taking a -4 for Zaha aswell with the extra funds from the smith move. Hegazi going up tonight so would like to take as much value as possible.
banjomaker
Sorry to repost a similar question, but keen to get some opinions… who’s the best Ritchie replacement?
1) Mooy
2) Richarlison
3) Jesé
4) Someone else?
Mooy obviously has the advantage that he leaves 0.5 to improve elsewhere.
Thanks.
The Gallant Pioneer (@MitchellC_FF247)
Evening banjo.
I would go for Mooy based on his performances so far. Man of the match today I thought. That and he has some fair fixtures to come. Would at least but you some time to further study Jese and Richarlison.
banjomaker
Thanks GP. Mooy certainly appears to be the sensible choice. I just can’t help thinking he (and Huddersfield) will dry up soon. I guess we said that about Mahrez tho 😉 Both Richarlison & Jese have great goal scoring records (better than Mooy) and are playing in very advanced roles though. I’ll be keeping a very close eye either way.
