Good Day,
my Midfield ….
KdB – Mane – Willian – Carroll – JWP
1.5IB
JWP to ????
Tks
Mooy?
This
You could also keep JWP and upgrade willian to Miki
Goodmorning people,little disappointed with ince, saw both games of Hud mooy playing behind him is more active and dangerous, ince probably needs more time to adjust to his new team.Was thinking about Richarlison as a replacement,some good fixtures ahead,Watford seems not to have any problems creating goals,and I have a huge respect to Marcus Silva.What do you think;
Hi teo
The downgrade to Mooy is where I would go if I were you.
Mooy is proving it. Richarlison looks good but is still settling.
GP
Was thinking of mooy to tell you the truth, but Watford attack is more productive I think and Richarlison seems to already have an active role in it.He already convinced Silva to get him to the first eleven and he returned some good points.Don t know what to do here.
It’s a nice choice.
Richarlison if you fancy a little risk then?
Meh, I’m leaving Ince in, I think. He had a fairly decent effort and his stats from previous campaigns are far superior. Mooy won’t keep it up.
I know his previous years were excellent, but he seems a little bit of a stranger in the attacking play of Hud.I Don t know how long I should wait until he returns some points.
I’d sooner switch out of Huddersfield’s attack than bring in Mooy. Mounie the only one I’d have over Ince right now.
So what do you think about Richarlison ;
Don’t know much about him to be honest. Started well and, from a quick glance, pretty good returns at his last club. What are their fixtures like?
Some good and some difficult games, but I think he may be worth a punt.
No one thinking Jese?. £6m.
Thought about it. Don’t like their fixtures.
Me. But it would either require a hit or shipping Rambo, whom I just bought and has a home game and nice fixtures, so Jese will have to wait. Fixtures aren’t great either, as AT mentioned, so one to watch I’d say. I would be all over him (or Richarlison, or Mooy) if I had a 6.0 mid wandering around like Ince or Ritchie though. Stoke may be on their way to a good season with Zouma in there too and Butland picking up where he left with his first 3 bps of the season (against top opposition too).
DMC
Geoff Cameron seems to be benrfitting from the current system of three. Think he’s only 4.5. Could be useful once they get rid of a couple of their trickier games.
You’d expect Martins Indi to replace him soon enough though GP, surely?
Saying that Shawcross will be injured before long!
Yeah I’m aware of him for sure. Stack a couple of clean sheets and who knows? Will Hughsie change it?
Disclaimer: I said “could”
:winktongue:
GP, I’d be very surprised if Cameron keep BMI out for long and with Fletcher arriving his usefulness in midfield may be less than in previos seasons.
GP – yeah he is 4.5 but I wasn’t suggesting buying someone from their defense; just highlighting that they may be better at it this term which would help Jese’s numbers going forward. If they do show CS potential though than Pieters or Butland would be my targets, both at 5.0. Cameron “could” be shrewd at 4.5 but as Cookie said there’s BMI back there again. Also, he’s American and we all know US players shouldn’t be playing football!!
So, KdB is no longer the man to have….after one match.
Kane is being sold in his droves with some lovely fixtures coming up.
Funny old game.
Sure is Greavsie.
Kane’s goals will undoubtedly come. He’s had 14 efforts in his first two games which is five more than anyone else.
I will stick with Kane-KDB even if i wish i had stuck with my original plan i had pre season Ericksen-Kun.
I’m very impressed with Kane’s form and pace this early.
His stats and off the post shots have been documented so I won’t go there.
Football is a simple thing and if you’ve seen him play the full games – as I have – you know goals (many goals) are very near so I’m actually trying to figure out a way to get him in without using my WC!
To sell now is really denying all the preparation. I mean I can see why many of us didn’t go with him from the off but we all knew that he’d be needed at some point and were hoping to get away with it for a few gws. Well, guess what? We did! For 2 gws!
But now that we did get away with it, we should really buy now because he is really in good shape and form and we’re still in time to benefit from him for the same number of goals that the ones that bought him from the off will.
It’s more, people selling will probably not be able to buy him back when he inevitably starts to post those double digit scores without several hits so, in “one word”, selling is crazy stuff.
Many here are keeping him from what I’ve read in the comments though and fair play to them.
Hi DMC, couldn’t agree more.
I’m in the exact same position and thinking along the same lines. Watching spurs yesterday and when Kane had the ball I was just waiting for the net to bulge. Can’t be doing that any longer and need to get him in now before Burnley…
He’ll be my captain this week. That should put you all off
But do we cap him in GW3?
That’s a different approach there Colriles. On paper, he’s the prime candidate given the opposition, but Burnley are no mugs. We need to see what happens tonight as Bornemouth don’t look great, meaning that Jesus/Kun could also be viable options. Then there’s Lukaku at home to Leicester. I don’t know. If I do buy Kane it will probably mean a -4 and in that case I’ll most likely capo the man to compensate the hit! If you already have him and Luk then it’s a coin toss too me – one has the better fixture but the other is on form and plays his second home game of the season against a team that conceded 3 in a big stadium on GW1. It could be a repetition of that showing. Or it could be me trying to convince myself to hold fire on Kane until the IB is over! I’ll be hiding behind the couch though, if I do stay put.
Hi all,
Repost to get more input. Best option? 1FT, 1M ITB
1. Benteke -> Chicarito (Palace home to Swansea)
2. Ritchie -> Richarlison/Mooy
3. Daniels -> Jones
4. Save FT
5. Better option?
Forster
Mee Daniels Yoshida
Willian Ritchie Mane Alli
Benteke Jesus Lukaku
Elliot Dawson T.Carroll Hunemeier
1. for me. I feel tekkers performs much better when Zaha is around e.g. his goals dried up when Zaha was at AFCON last year. With the extra 1mil plus bank you could Possibly upgrade Ritchie to Miki or Mee to stones/davies
Cheers
LRL,
I’d be tempted to save the FT so that you have 2 after the break.
Newcastle haven’t been great but I’d expect them to score against West Ham
Benteke should have scored against Liverpool and Palace have a decent fixture at the weekend
Bournemouth are something of a concern but you could bench Daniels and play Dawson
Might save FT but really leaning towards Daniels -> Jones.
Apart from the Benteke effort, Palace were never going to score from open play on Saturday. Their only threat was from set pieces, maybe missing Zaha more than people think.
That was due to the fact that neither Lovren nor Moreno were playing for us
:big-lol:
Trippier didn’t get injured, did he? Seen some people on Twitter not happy about his performance – or Davies’ for that matter. Obviously early days with the newly Caribbean-sounding Cup coming midweek but PVA to Trippier looks a straightforward decision for me.
Think he asked to come off at the end – not a huge surprise given it was his first game back, they’d been chasing for much of it and Wembley is not the most forgiving of surfaces. Am sure he’ll be ok for next week, but probably worth waiting for a Poch update.
Ahh, good to know. How’s your team going, mate? Kane as captain has burned me for the first two weeks. Not sitting pretty, but feel that my team is not in need of any major surgery. I think I can go without Lukaku at the moment, if City fire tonight at least.
AT, having a bad week, 34 pts I think, KdB and Kompany tonight. So won’t be a good week – but not panicking, it’s GW2 ffs! Team looks ok on paper, at least 85% of it does so I’m cool.
Here’s what Poch had to say after the game http://www.football.london/tottenham-hotspur-fc/fixtures-results/pochettino-kieran-trippier-spurs-press-13504415
Kieran Trippier looked to have an injury when he came off?
I think it’s not a big issue. Only in that moment he asked to leave the pitch and with only a few minutes we decided to change it and bring Vincent on.
Cheers Kop. Sounds like nothing then. Hope so!
