Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 20. We hope that you are showing signs of life again after a few hectic days of festivities. GW19 came and went with haste and we’ve even had a day off to take stock and consider our transfers. It’s a lazy approach into GW20 too with a late 2pm deadline, the only downside being that it is on a Saturday so your pesky ML rivals may actually remember to check their teams this week.
Much like its predecessor this one is squeezed into two days and we begin with five 3pm games but outside of Spurs featuring, and perhaps Richarlison, and maybe the odd budget defender, there may be sporadic fantasy interest, certainly from any big hitters anyway. There should be more in the early evening game as Liverpool host Arsenal at 5.30pm.
Sunday sees Chelsea visit Palace for starters at 12pm, Burnley vs West Ham and Saints vs Man City provide the mains at 2.15pm before the dessert at 4.15pm in the shape of Man United vs Bournemouth.

If you enter and win a prize you have to have commented on the site at least 5 times for 8 consecutive months between August 2018 and March 2019 or you will not be considered for a prize. That’s basically 1 comment a week all season, we think that’s a reasonable ask to be considered a ‘regular’.

How is everyone doing. I have 30pts frim 5 including cpt Kane and have Jimenez on the bench where he will most likely stay! (Not as bad as Digne and Bilva on the bench last gw mind).
Miserable 18 points and 16 on the bench for Boly and Dunk.
Still 7 players to go but the bench loss has been an issue.
I’m with you on that one Ivan. I’m having a bit of a bench mare for next gw now as could play 3 of the 4 current bench and expect points!
Well db, the idea was to have a strong bench for the busy Christmas schedule due to the expected rotations. It doesn’t work very well as players still come in for a cameo and the points remain on the bloody bench.
34 and green arrows with four left to play, but that’s mainly thanks to Salah (I could really, really have done with him taking the 2nd penalty). This was always looking a tough GW for me, and a Palace CS would be most helpful.
I don’t expect CS for Chelsea and City, so Luiz and Laporte will end up most likely with 2 each. Fab away is 50/50 chance. If Bilva gets an assist or something better, it will be a bonus. My big hope are the three United players.
Yellow card for Alonso already. Glad I ditched him, at the moment I am anyway!

I’m on 39 (-4) with only 4 players left. Putting Doherty on the bench was a mistake Robertson 1 Digne 2 and Kongolo 2 is my 3 defenders

Trying to pick who to start and who to bench next gw. I have 1 free transfer but dont see any reason to use it. Would any of you make any changes to who I have benched?
I’m thinking I could play Jimenez over Pereya?
WanB over either maguire/Digne?
I think Ive made the right choice playing Fab over Hennessey!
Hennessey not playing again, hopefully he doesnt play next gw giving me 1 less decision to make.
I’d play Jimenez & Wan instead of Bernardo & Maguire
Yes I was also considering leaving Bernado on the bench as well. Too many options for me this week!
Surely you have this problem every week. Pereyra, Jimenez or Rashford need downgrading to a fodder
Not really, I think its been the same for most with Digne being on most benches last week when he could quite easily have been in the starting 11. Same argument could be used with lots of people leaving Jimenez and Doherty on the bench this gw but then that would just lead to a form over fixtures or vice versa debate. What do you reckon anyway smash. Play Jimenz/WanB or not?
I disagree I think your bench has too much money invested in it. You can only play 11. You will have one strong defender on bench anyway it’s not very often you need a second and third sub and one will be AWB. I would play Jimenez maybe instead of BSilva or Pereyra
Ok. Thanks. I wouldn’t have had any of the ManU players a couple of weeks ago and although I think theres fpl points to be had now, I’m still erring on the side of caution therefore I’m trying to accomodate those players for a couple of weeks without losing points elsewhere if that makes any sense. After 2 or 3 gws I’ll either be downgrading Pogba or Bilva + A.N.Other for another Citeh mid depending on whether these ManU players step up or not.
Smash, I think even Billing might get something more than Bilva in the next round 😆

Digne was first on bench last week…this week Doherty. If Sarri dropped him, I would have been benefited…but Sarri loves him and hates my team.
Over the season, Alonso’s averaged a point per game more than any of the players you’ve listed. He’s also hit the woodwork 5 times.
That said, I still sold him a couple of days ago.
You remove first 3 GWs – then Alonso’s numbers might be less than many.
GM, he would have been great in MLS. Imagine how many points for hitting the wood over there 🙂
Nothing happening. Captain Hazard seems to be failing again
Every match he plays like that only…then one fine moment, he scores or CHE gets a PK. I have kept Wan-B 3rd on my bench – which is an ominous sign.
Hope he atleast has one goal. Wan B is third sub for me as well. Him getting a CS and bonus would be sad too
I hate Hazard as a false 9 but AWB has been a nightmare for most left wingers so would probably be better off playing there today aha
