Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 20. We hope that you are showing signs of life again after a few hectic days of festivities. GW19 came and went with haste and we’ve even had a day off to take stock and consider our transfers. It’s a lazy approach into GW20 too with a late 2pm deadline, the only downside being that it is on a Saturday so your pesky ML rivals may actually remember to check their teams this week.
Much like its predecessor this one is squeezed into two days and we begin with five 3pm games but outside of Spurs featuring, and perhaps Richarlison, and maybe the odd budget defender, there may be sporadic fantasy interest, certainly from any big hitters anyway. There should be more in the early evening game as Liverpool host Arsenal at 5.30pm.
Sunday sees Chelsea visit Palace for starters at 12pm, Burnley vs West Ham and Saints vs Man City provide the mains at 2.15pm before the dessert at 4.15pm in the shape of Man United vs Bournemouth.

That’s basically 1 comment a week all season, we think that’s a reasonable ask to be considered a ‘regular’.

Does hurt that I sold firmino tho :'( Funny thing where I wouldn’t have sold him and I felt like he would score as he always does against arsenal, but as I had my 1st half of the season wild card to burn I sold him to bring in Hazard. Interesting question on if we shouldn’t use our wildcard for the sake of it? It feels like a waste not to use it but sometimes the 11 you already have is the one to trust… Interesting questions with no real definite answers!! Hahah
Sort of thought the same young Bob. Does rather beg the question whether hanging on to it is actually worth it and whether it’s best deployed after the first few weeks to readjust then to the inform players / teams instead.
Definitely! I think the new (ish) system of one wildcard for each half definitely favours wildcarding early. I did last season and it paid off, and after this week, I think I’ll wildcard early next season too (if at all) haha

very painful without him from gw 16-19 without salah. u should bring him in next week despite the opponent. salah will score against any1 on the form he is on now!

8 but i got 0,1 itb so i could be over 2 weeks for -4…. would have to play next gameweek with alot itb and only two premium players….

The moves i would have to do is Sell Hazard or Sane / Kane or Aubayang and bring Salah + a cheaper striker around the 7.8 to 8.5mil range because i don’t have funds after all

that is also likely kuma. assess after the sunday games and think about your moves. not brining salah in for gw21 might work out fine or wont.
True. In ideal world i would like to actually transfer Salah in for gw 22 as they have a lovely run of fixtures!
ccity v lfc games can be high scoring. if its a goal fest, you can bet salah will be on that scoresheet

Sold him a few weeks back. Got him in this gw. Just do it and be done with it.
My plan to get him and I didn’t have the guts to do for this week involved Auba out. Now it will be more difficult as makes no sense to get rid of him before the Fulham game.

Yes, I honestly think you’d do better to ditch Kane (not Auba) if you want Salah.
That looks the easiest path actually with 2 FT and 1.5 ITB
Kane vs Cardiff though, with a no compromise ‘must bounce back’ clause. Plus Auba may be benched. #justsaying 😉

Nah I’m not like that mate, I’d took one too many kicks to the nuts after ditching him the day before his Hatty; I left it too long if anything but sometimes it’s better to admit you were wrong than prolong the pain! Wasn’t having a dig my friend!

I know mate, I just respect that you did what you planned. Since I adopted “cautious”, “sensible”, “patient” and all those behaviors things don’t go well.
So I got all my 50/50 decisions wrong. Jimenez and Doherty on the bench and captained Kane instead of Salah feel a bit sick

Smash, you made the best decision to keep Salah with your WC and then went to captain Kane in the last two rounds. Wait until I get rid of Kane for him and put the armband. Salah blanks and Kane gets a hatty-guaranteed :smiling:
