Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 20. Did you manage to complete our 4 TV games in a day challenge on Boxing Day? If you lived to tell the tale then well done and you can almost do it all over again today. Go on, we dare you…

It’s yet another GW spread over two days, only this time there are a few less crammed in on the first day as Saturday sees just 7 games beginning with Brighton and Bournemouth getting us started at lunchtime, followed by Newcastle v Everton, Southampton v Palace and Watford v Villa all at 3pm. There are then a couple of games in the 5.30pm slot with West Ham hosting Leicester and Spurs going to Norwich. Burnley and Man Utd see Saturday out in the evening fixture.

Sunday begins at 2pm with a London derby as Chelsea go to Arsenal, followed at 4.30pm with Wolves hosting Liverpool and the GW ends with Man City welcoming Sheffield United at 6pm.

Thankfully we all then get a bit of a breather as GW21 doesn’t begin until Wednesday.

  2. Struggling with plans, 2FT and 0.1ITB, a few options below.
    1) Abraham to Ings
    2) Abraham to Jimenez
    3) Alli to Martial
    4) 1 or 3, plus Pope to Fabianski
    4) Abraham/Alli/Conolly to Ings/Martial/Maupay
    5) Any other bright ideas?????

    • 6) Conolly/Pope to Greenwood/Fabianski

    • Romsdale has the best run of fixtures after January the 1st. Forget about that small DGW, Fabianski is unlikely to keep a CS in either of the games.

      • Thanks good point. I can take Ramsdale with the 0.1 I have in the bank. I could bank the other or remove Abraham.

      • TheDreamers, that is true. Both are on the same level but still, Romsdale is on 4 CS+ and an assist and the surrounding fixtures look more promising. I simply can’t see how Fab can keep a CS vs Leicester or Liverpool, while at the same time Rom has a big chance for one at home to Brighton. We are talking about 4 the most against 6 at least points :wink2:

    • I actually really like that team. Tammy could do well against Brighton. How about just doing Connolly to Greenwood to free up a bit of cash and then have 2 FTs for nezt gameweek?

      • reckon tammy will play swirly or benched? fa cup next weekend so i think abraham starts and benched for fa cup game

        • I reckon he’ll start, to be honest. Would imagine the FA Cup game would give an opportunity for Bats and Giroud to have a run about.

        • I agree I think he plays and gets rested for cup game. Giroud is on way out anyway

    • Tricky. Kane is great, but may be better value elsewhere. Perhaps Kane to Jimenez/Ings and upgrade Moutinho?

    • What’s the issue with it Man U man?

    • Moutinho or Cantwell to Dendoncker to free up cash for 2 FTs next gameweek? It’s a nice team smile

        • Thanks guys. I’d like to get salah but it could destroy the rest of my team, not sure if it’s worth it.

        • I keep wanting too also man u man but whenever I see him he puts me off! Still feels explosive though, despite the evidence. Reckon I’ll keep
          Kane again now. And quite possibly captain him again.

  5. Whats the news on Lundstrom, all I have seen is he failed a fitness test.

    • Don’t know, myself, but will have him on the subs bench again, so not too worried. Too much value saved up in him to transfer out.

  6. Evening all,

    Mane (C), TAA & KDB have saved my week meaning I will finished on 66 so should hopefully see some green arrows.

    Not sure how to play is for next GW – got 2 FT and 3.9 ITB.

    Debating a West Ham mid, DCL or more City/Pool coverage with likely people to move on being Moura, Zaha and maybe Ings.

    Welcome suggestions :good2:

    • Popular choices would be Martial, Alli or Grealish

    • I’d keep hold of Ings. Spurs are still yet to keep a clean sheet on the road and if anyone will score against them, it’ll be him. Moura would be my candidate to go – I agree with Dreamers in picking Alli or Martial.

      • Thanks guys. I had Martial before and he did nothing for me. Worried I will put him back in and the goals will dry up
