Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 20. How you feeling? Bit hungover from the booze? Stuffed from the food? Hands aching from making toys or building Lego? Or just bored of the mrs or in-laws? Whatever your state of mind, you’re back among friends. We understand. And better still GW20 is live! It’s an early(ish) start as Spurs host Southampton at Wembley in the lunchtime kick off. Six 3pm matches follow – Bournemouth host West Ham, Brighton go to Chelsea, Huddersfield welcome Stoke, it’s the bus convention at Old Trafford as United clash with Burnley, Leicester go to Watford and its Pardew vs Big Sam as West Brom ‘entertain’ Everton at the Hawthorns.
There’s some evening entertainment too as Liverpool host Swansea.
We then have 24 hours or so to recover before Newcastle do what they can to stop the Man City juggernaut. And then another 24 hour break before the GW finishes with a London derby as Palace host Arsenal.

Any ideas on whom to captain?
lsd1980s – you got yourself in a bit of a pickle here with those 3 dgwers on the bench and with Mariappa in there. You are probably going to play with 10 men. If your goal is to catch your ML leader, though, I wouldn’t be taking hits at this point. Just bite the bullet and keep going. You are well setup for the dgw already, so not all is lost. Capo choice is a personal one but do consider Mo Salah. He’s in hot form, the best player in the game so far and a prime capo candidate, especially in Kane’s absence.

Mo salah is the obvious choice…but do you think captaining Hazard is worth a risk?
lsd1980s – yeah he can bag another brace as he did vs Newcastle. He certainly has the fixture to do so. The caveat here is that if you are chasing that kind of lead at this point of the season you probably shouldn’t be taking huge risks just now. If your opponent has Salah he will probably captain him and sometimes it’s about not making the gap bigger rather than reducing. If your risky capo fails and his likelier to score explodes you are looking at +100 gap so, yeah, unless you are really confident Haz does the business do consider Salah here.

Hi Jamie,not sure Lloris is worth the money as Spurs dont keep many clean sheets.Maybe Adrian ? If i was on a wc right now i’d make Alonso a priority.He’s starting to show form and is basically playing as an attacker for Chelsea right now.If you can stretch it id swap Grob for Lingard and Carrol for Rlc.Depoitre will be rotated with Mounie,as he was yesterday though he should start this weekend.I’d be nervous only having .1m in the bank to play with to bring Kane back in !!!

How to fix this team and prepare for DGW?
I prefer hold the transfer, and Silva + Coutinho > Eriksen + son for DGW22?
Depending what updates you here on D.Silva him so Son is a good start with a FT. Kane could be with the Trip captain. I won’t be getting defenders or keeps from either team.
Spurs have had 2 cs in their last 4 and westham the same.

Think Firmino and Murray need to go because of possible rotations upcoming, although Murray should start next one considering he has rested in 2 games already and got me 1 pointers.
Hazard will convert to Erik/Alli.
Wish i could afford Lorris.
Hey B, Firmino is the prime 2nd fwd for me. Great form and far better value than those in the 3rd tier (Murray, Austin, Gabby, etc). Morata’s also nailed, so you could ditch Haz and go that route. But front line for me is Kane, Firmino & DCL right now. Also RLC over Carroll for me if on WC.
Want to bring RLC in his place, but he faces City this GW. Also, i have lost 0.2M on Carrol so gotta keep him for the season. I hate that. Happens every season with my fifth mid.
Your starting 11 looks really good and should all start. However I’d be worried having 3 non players on the bench.
Maybe chance 1 now and bring them back with your FT before the DGW starts.
FT is set to be used on Haz to Erik/Alli. But yeah its a risk im willing to take.

Yeah, leaning more towards Alli because of that very reason.

Quaner will allow me to upgrade Adrian to Lorris. Sounds like a decent option.
Evening folks, got a few problems here, do have 2 fts + 0.5 itb. Have got 3 benched, Kane, Davies + Ogbonna. 1 ill, Christensen. 1 don’t play, Rangel. Should i just use 1 ft to get up to a 4.4 playing defender for Rangel and take a chance on Christensen ?
You need to upgrade Rangel. He is dead meat. You already have the 2 popular 4.4M defenders, so maybe Klavan from Liverpool? Seems to be starting games, but not sure if rotation will affect him soon or not.
Yeah I’d be getting a 4.4 defender. Hopefully Christenson is ok still a few days
If go for a Burnley defender. Maybe mee easy on the bank and good cs returns so far. Kevin long would be a gamble but is playing over the last few weeks. Could do him for tangle and still have. 4 itb and 2 for the DGW
