Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 21. If you made it this far without missing a deadline give yourself a pat on the back. And if you think you’re tired just imagine how the players are feeling! This is the last GW in the marathon Christmas period though, so you them and us all can breathe a sigh of relief and take a break for a week or so to recover.
New Year’s Day itself has a disappointingly low number of fixtures with just three games this year, for some bizarre reason. Everton and Leicester kick us off at lunchtime before Arsenal and Fulham play the solitary ‘traditional’ 3pm game on their lonesome. Cardiff and Spurs bring up the rear at 5.30pm.
We then skip to Wednesday evening for the bulk of this week’s action with 6 games in total. The remaining one is on Thursday night and should in theory be the game of the week, if not the whole Christmas period, or indeed the season. If only they all had any legs left… Oh, it’s Man City vs Liverpool by the way. Cracking time to play what may be a season decider that isn’t it?!

*terms and conditions apply and are available upon request. Management reserve the right to review membership of this league on an ongoing basis. If you enter and win a prize you have to have commented on the site at least 5 times for 8 consecutive months between August 2018 and March 2019 or you will not be considered for a prize. That’s basically 1 comment a week all season, we think that’s a reasonable ask to be considered a ‘regular’.

How the hell are we keeping a clean sheet against Chelsea? First in what 10 games?!?!? I swear if I didn’t have Hazard and captained him this would not be happening… So, I now know how to keep us in the league —> I’ll just cap a player against us for the remainder of the season and it’s done!! :big-lol:

Nah, I haven’t gotten the Captain right in the last 5 or 6 game weeks… Definitely not 50/50 like you say… It’s luck, can go either way, can get 70 heads out of 100 coin tosses and can get 70 tails out of 100 coin tosses!

Rashford compensates for the terrible Hazard. He should be striker alone. This is the second game in a row he doesn’t start as lone striker. Second game they have trouble.
