Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 21

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 21. If you made it this far without missing a deadline give yourself a pat on the back. And if you think you’re tired just imagine how the players are feeling! This is the last GW in the marathon Christmas period though, so you them and us all can breathe a sigh of relief and take a break for a week or so to recover.

New Year’s Day itself has a disappointingly low number of fixtures with just three games this year, for some bizarre reason. Everton and Leicester kick us off at lunchtime before Arsenal and Fulham play the solitary ‘traditional’ 3pm game on their lonesome. Cardiff and Spurs bring up the rear at 5.30pm.

We then skip to Wednesday evening for the bulk of this week’s action with 6 games in total. The remaining one is on Thursday night and should in theory be the game of the week, if not the whole Christmas period, or indeed the season. If only they all had any legs left… Oh, it’s Man City vs Liverpool by the way. Cracking time to play what may be a season decider that isn’t it?!

The games in full…

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

Good luck to absolutely everyone for Gameweek 21 from all at FF247!

With Wan B coming off the bench for Balbuena, it looks like a score of 67 for this gameweek as things currently stand. Hopefully up to about 260k, so I’m definitely going in the right direction smile

If you had to sell one out of richarlison and Anderson. Who would you sell?

The 7 players I picked for tonight scored 14 points between them. The 3 I left on the bench scored 22.
Looking on the bright side, at least I didn’t take a hit to bring in Hazard.

Anyone know what happened to ings tonight?

Really losing patience with him and considering a swap to deeney or Kamara

61 points with Salah and TAA to play, I am rather quickly losing patience with Hazard though

Over the piece though he should pay off, I’d urge patience. He’s a bit all or nothing as opposed to a Steady Eddie like Kane. His 6 double digit week’s account for 83 of his 139 points. Just makes him a bit more scatter gun as a potential Capo pick I think.

Similar players left but 20pts less than you and mainly down to Hazard (C) but I’m not even considering ditching him, over the season he’ll be right up there, I’ll jjst not give him the armband again any time soon !!

I agree with both. Would only add that Hazard is my ‘Sterling spot’ so I’m keeping until Sterling/City show signs of resurgence. He has good fixtures too in their next 4; we just need Pedro back so that he is restored upfront has a false 9.

They were crap for the 1st hour or so

Their same self. Dodgy at the back, quick on the counter. Lindelof was great in defense; Rashford in attack. Nothing else worth mentioning.

      • Steve666 says:

Really regretting getting rid of rashford. One of my favourite players. Like a lot of people thought he might be rested. Think olé likes him I reckon he’s a season keeper

        • Kralin says:

Loads of people did the same, it’s numbing when it happens but sadly it does happen. Had he not been marked as injured I may have brought him in this week but then I suppose if he hadn’t been marked as injured nobody would have dropped him and nobody would be perfecting their 1000 yard stare at the moment. But he’s cheaply brought back, or brought in, if needed.

        • DMC says:

He’s good value right now, but he won’t be alone up top when fatso Luk gets first XI duties which may happen next gw. I can see Alexis and Rash on the wings with Luk up front. Still good value for his price but in such scenario I’d prefer Arnie, so need to monitor that.
