Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 21

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 21. If you made it this far without missing a deadline give yourself a pat on the back. And if you think you’re tired just imagine how the players are feeling! This is the last GW in the marathon Christmas period though, so you them and us all can breathe a sigh of relief and take a break for a week or so to recover.

New Year’s Day itself has a disappointingly low number of fixtures with just three games this year, for some bizarre reason. Everton and Leicester kick us off at lunchtime before Arsenal and Fulham play the solitary ‘traditional’ 3pm game on their lonesome. Cardiff and Spurs bring up the rear at 5.30pm.

We then skip to Wednesday evening for the bulk of this week’s action with 6 games in total. The remaining one is on Thursday night and should in theory be the game of the week, if not the whole Christmas period, or indeed the season. If only they all had any legs left… Oh, it’s Man City vs Liverpool by the way. Cracking time to play what may be a season decider that isn’t it?!

The games in full…

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

Good luck to absolutely everyone for Gameweek 21 from all at FF247!

    66 all out for me.

Hoping man city v liverpool does not finish 0.0 and Salah & Mane don’t score for liverpool.

I need a big couch for tomorrow night.

    Hi all,
Hope everyone is having a good game week. Currently 48 with Robo and TAA to play (hoping one of them or both don’t play so that my bench can come in xD)

With regards to the upcoming fixtures, I have 2 FT and been thinking of getting Pogba & Rasford in for their upcoming fixtures/form. Issue would be that I will have to take a -4 hit, and would need to do this before the price change in Pogba assuming that his price will rise tonight. Only thing I am aware is that they face Spurs next week before their games turn.

Would love everyone’s thought especially the vets of FPL smile

Sorry meant to add it on to the existing post

I like those moves but don’t like that you have to do them this early. There is a long way to go before the next deadline.

I think I would hold from making those moves right now.

You could always drop Felipe instead of Lingard, no?

          Hi Gallant,

Cheers for the reply. Only reason I was thinking of at least swapping for Pogba as if I do the moves above I would be able to afford it all compared to me waiting until deadline I would not be able to bring in both united players.
With regards to Pelipe not sure if it would be wise to have 3 United players. Bit annoyed that Lingard had to be subbed in. I could just swap out Pogba with Son now and hold off my other transfers until closer to match day? Though Spurs v United could go either way imo.

Understand your position I just think it is a bit risky due to the time between making the moves tonight and the next deadline which is more than a week away. But if you go for it, best of luck.

    Hi guys,

Absolutely dismal week so far. 41 (-4) with Salah and Robbo to play. 1 FT this week 0.2 ITB. Looking for some professional advice 😉

    Cheers

    Hey guys,

Over the next two weeks I am looking at getting rid of Son (Asia) and Martial (rotation threat), and wondered who you guys would advise me to look at?

I have 16.7m for the two, and would really like Erikson considering Spurs’ fixtures. That leaves 7.4m for a Martial replacement.

Do you think I should go erikson? Or go cheaper with Alli?

Who would you sign for Martial?

Is there other areas of my team you’d change?

    Thanks in advance, Ed!

Mornin all. Really stumped where to go with 2 FTs and 0.4 itb. Snodgrass and Davies giving me headaches but no obvious replacements jumping out in those price ranges. Any thoughts?
