Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 21. Much like Boxing Day we have 9 games on New Years Day, again with the potential to watch 4 on the bounce. This really hasn’t been a great one for family unity has it?! Screw it, the damage is probably already done by now…
Brighton and Chelsea along with Burnley and Villa kick us off at 12.30pm. We then have 3 games at 3pm, followed by another 3 at 5.30pm before Arsenal and Man Utd finish us off at 8pm.
The whole show comes to a conclusion on Thursday with just the one game as Liverpool welcome Sheffield United to Anfield.

Hopefully you have some Liverpool personnel to come. And it’s always best to see what the average is at the end of the GW before getting too despondent (or boastful). Like you I’m on about minus 50. I’m conning myself that I’ll make it all up with the chips later on.

That’s not the worst trio left to play. Gutted feelings one day of a GW can quickly turn around.
& there are other contextual issues, like one’s mini-league(s) for example, where not everyone is hitting the stars and making the correct plays; often quite the opposite (speaking of myself).

I’m deluded enough to think I may get a freak bonus point to bring me up to a grand total of -10.

Until we have the final averages – and today’s games aren’t done, nor this GW – it’s very difficult to gauge the (relative) success or failure of a GW.
In general (for me) I consider any score >=50 a success.

Raz, it’s far from over yet as Kralin stated above. Many teams have Mane and Salah with a (C) one or the other, plus a Man U player. Things will change dramatically tomorrow night and that is what I meant :wink2:
