Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 21

Relentlessly this season’s FPL schedule hurtles us straight into GW21 with Everton v Newcastle at Goodison on Saturday lunchtime – just 28 and a half hours after Liverpool dusted off Spurs to round out GW20.

Following on Saturday we have three games kicking off simultaneously in what is becoming a bit of a throwback to days when FPL was ‘normal’. At 3pm we have the Blades of Sheffield United looking to slice open the other half of Manchester as they travel to the Etihad to face City and try to secure the Manc’ double and haul themselves closer to safety.

It’s The Eagles v The Wolves at Selhurst Park and West Bromwich Albion v Fulham in a game which will be shown live on the BBC – talk about slim pickings!

Arsenal v United is the teatime offering and then it’s to the south coast, for Southampton v Aston Villa which rounds off the Saturday entertainment.

Sunday sees Chelsea v Burnley at twelve as Tuchel faces Sean Dyche for the first time (someone should warn him he’s not the pitchside security) then Leicester v Leeds follows at 2pm.

To round off the weekend, Thursday’s gladiators make their appearance as Liverpool head to the London Stadium to challenge Top Four rivals West Ham (yep) and Spurs head to the Amex for an appointment, minus Harry Kane (probably), with the Seagulls of Brighton.

The games in full…

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

    Delighted with Bamford and Dallas.
Now, if Antonio can surprise us too, would be fantastic smile

Would appreciate some advice with transfers, what would you do there? Thinking about just rolling it over

Hey ho everybody. Was intending to rack up an amusing little piece entitled ‘AJW’s Excellent Adventure’, until I read many of your comments.
I can safely say that some of us are all in the same boat, and it’s springing a big leak!
Preparing the hair shirts for us all, as well as a pilgrimage of Croagh Patrick on my knees, I will still relate to you all, the intricacies of my detailed military-like transfer plans and execution (or self-execution of my FPL team!).

Had planned to get out Zouma & Raphinha for Son and one of the AV defenders, but….
Well you know, I hurried to get rid of Kane for DCL, when faced with that alluring Newcastle fixture (even before the hustle and bustle of it all!) and still get in Sonnie (to have some Spurs coverage for the months ahead.

Smartly I put in Bamford as first reserve, with last week’s hero Soucek in a 3-5-2 formation! smile

Then….thinking I still had backline coverage, even if I kept Zouma for one more week…I discovered to news about my City defenders…
Now…I’ve got …I’ll let the screenshot tell the story!
Honestly – what a weekend…and I have to admit that if there’s a God, he/she has a great sense of humour (It’s the 31st of Dry January – thus my first alco-charged beverage is due tomorrow, the first working day of the week!) smile Hahaha AJW, you great goose! (Aus slang for an ‘Eejit’)!!! Have a nice evening everyone!
