Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 21
Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 21
Relentlessly this season’s FPL schedule hurtles us straight into GW21 with Everton v Newcastle at Goodison on Saturday lunchtime – just 28 and a half hours after Liverpool dusted off Spurs to round out GW20.
Following on Saturday we have three games kicking off simultaneously in what is becoming a bit of a throwback to days when FPL was ‘normal’. At 3pm we have the Blades of Sheffield United looking to slice open the other half of Manchester as they travel to the Etihad to face City and try to secure the Manc’ double and haul themselves closer to safety.
It’s The Eagles v The Wolves at Selhurst Park and West Bromwich Albion v Fulham in a game which will be shown live on the BBC – talk about slim pickings!
Arsenal v United is the teatime offering and then it’s to the south coast, for Southampton v Aston Villa which rounds off the Saturday entertainment.
Sunday sees Chelsea v Burnley at twelve as Tuchel faces Sean Dyche for the first time (someone should warn him he’s not the pitchside security) then Leicester v Leeds follows at 2pm.
To round off the weekend, Thursday’s gladiators make their appearance as Liverpool head to the London Stadium to challenge Top Four rivals West Ham (yep) and Spurs head to the Amex for an appointment, minus Harry Kane (probably), with the Seagulls of Brighton.
The games in full…

Yeh, Son’s getting nothing out of this, Spurs look dreadful.
Also my captain they’ve been shocking there been outplayed by Brighton in the first half, Captain Blank it is
Good half an hour left yet. Although I’m not really watching it so I’ll take your word for it!
Better side are winning currently, even with a Son blank 74 from this gameweek isn’t bad at all
Inittowinit – just rather dozily picked up on the Covid news. Very sorry to hear that and I hope all is ok your end.
I’m sure you will have this in hand but an oximeter is extremely useful.
Thanks Kralin. Not got one at home but it’d surely be useful soon enough given the breathlessness that is occurring. Will give it the night and see how tomorrow looks.
This –

is really good and spells out the oximeter stuff (page 5).
I’d take an assist now just to bump my score up a little.
Me too. Horrible score 50 -4
Be happy, i’m on 41.
50 odd is a reasonable score Bees, whatever the week. I bet you’re pleased you kept Salah (he said without checking).
If I get to 50 I’m usually pretty content, whatever the GW. I bet you’re doing ok in your mini-league. I’m not in competition with anyone here so can let the scores pass me by, whatever they may be. Someone always does better; a lot will do worse.
And we’ll soon be in the next GW.
Glass half full.
Was between Gundogan./Salah or Son as C.
Went Gundogan. So getting me 2 more points than Son :big-lol:
Every cloud.
It’s been a GW of non-stop chuckles.
What I write v what I feel Kralin are a little different
Funny old GW but you win some, you lose some. Would have been nice if DCL had hit the ground with a brace or a goal or even a bloody assist but the games come round so fast there’s bags of time to fail even better.
Brighton staying clear of relegation…
Whats yor thoughts of the relegation battle LRL?
Fulham been improving butbut not winning. nice diff
Seems pretty done to me. It’s a big ask for the bottom three now I think. West Brom are just conceding too much and Fulham struggle to score goals
Spurs making Brighton look like Bayern.
:big-lol:
I did say Spurs without Kane will struggle.
There wasn’t any motivation in the team from the start and throughout the game.
What do you want some sort of award. It’s one game so knee jerk
Every dog has its day.
Nah, Son is staying for a while.
If he doesn’t punish Chelsea, next is WBA where definitely will get something.
After my many mumps and moans of the last few game weeks then I am delighted with 75 points for this game week.
Hitting your captain (Salah) really makes a difference in obtaining a good score.
Well done to those who did likewise and unlucky to those who didn’t do quite so well.
Jamie
Well done for holding firm after the shocker you had last week.
Great score Jamie.
Always best to suspend disbelief until the final whistle is blown. I’ve always puzzled about managers getting their knickers in a twist half way through the GW (and often it works out the other way – one can get off to an absolute flyer then get pegged back later).
Salah’s goals were great today, the second one in particular.
Thanks chaps.
Hope you both had a good game week..
Jamie
