Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 21
Relentlessly this season’s FPL schedule hurtles us straight into GW21 with Everton v Newcastle at Goodison on Saturday lunchtime – just 28 and a half hours after Liverpool dusted off Spurs to round out GW20.
Following on Saturday we have three games kicking off simultaneously in what is becoming a bit of a throwback to days when FPL was ‘normal’. At 3pm we have the Blades of Sheffield United looking to slice open the other half of Manchester as they travel to the Etihad to face City and try to secure the Manc’ double and haul themselves closer to safety.
It’s The Eagles v The Wolves at Selhurst Park and West Bromwich Albion v Fulham in a game which will be shown live on the BBC – talk about slim pickings!
Arsenal v United is the teatime offering and then it’s to the south coast, for Southampton v Aston Villa which rounds off the Saturday entertainment.
Sunday sees Chelsea v Burnley at twelve as Tuchel faces Sean Dyche for the first time (someone should warn him he’s not the pitchside security) then Leicester v Leeds follows at 2pm.
To round off the weekend, Thursday’s gladiators make their appearance as Liverpool head to the London Stadium to challenge Top Four rivals West Ham (yep) and Spurs head to the Amex for an appointment, minus Harry Kane (probably), with the Seagulls of Brighton.

So I got more than twice as many points on the bench after bonus… Hopefully zouma wont play again….
I hope he does – as I have Stones, Cancelo, Mitchell, Coufal & Zoom-zooms. Looking at the curious fact of having only one playing defender this week! Still and all it seems to have been written in the stars. Bought DCL, captained Gundo, the City boys (defenders) don’t turn up. What else can go wrong??? Salah hattie? (Got him, but captained another!)

By the way, was watching the CIty game and had to look twice as I thought I saw KDB playing – upon closer inspection I saw it was actually Zinchenko – looking like KDB’s snarly, mean-faced evil skinny little brother – a sort of emaciated punk version of Kevin! (Honestly he didn’t look friendly at all!)
Wonder if Pep gets them mixed up?
Maybe he’s started having senior moments or maybe he just calls then all ‘Kevin’ just to hedge his bets.
At least you didn’t think you’d seen Kane leading the City line.
Hope Zouma or Chilwell get rested.

New boss I would not be surprised to see him start. Same with Chilwell he had a bit of a shocker last game. Not sure I could even try and predict the line up and I’m a Chelsea fan. He has loads of options. Not sure Azpil plays 3 games in a week

What a blast from the past it would be. Maybe Alonso has picked himself in his fantasy team, if he plays the game. Maybe Alonso is Terminator.
Not necessarily everyone gets a clean slate. I think he’s a great LWB so if that’s the system he does fit that. Plus Chilwell had a shocker last time out.
Having Stones, Cancelo AND Sterling really feels like a joke.
Or karma, maybe, Frenchie. Maybe you have to say sorry to someone somewhere for some misdeed in the past otherwise whatever combination of City players you have will always start from the bench.
Hopefully you’ve got 3 stellar replacements coming off your bench for them?
