Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 21. We hope you enjoyed yesterday’s FPL-free day because we now have six successive days of footy. Get in! First up we have GW21 which is spread over the weekend. Don’t forget that Spurs and West Ham blank this weekend and double in GW22. Six 3pm matches get us started as Bournemouth welcome Everton, Stoke go to Chelsea, Huddersfield and Burnley do battle, Liverpool take on Leicester, Brighton travel to Newcastle and Watford welcome Swansea. The evening match sees Man Utd entertain Southampton.
Sunday starts with a trip to the capital for Man City as they take on Palace before Arsenal’s trip to West Brom wraps us up for GW21.

Looking at West Hams fixtures compared to Swanseas following the double, i’d say yes definitely

I wasn’t going to, as I think Hazard has been playing really well and will be scoring big very soon. That said, I could sell tonight for 10.7 and bring in Alli/Erikson for this week. And then get him back for the same price for GW 23.

Argghhhhhh I’m so annoyed with myself!! Had the armband on Salah and switched to Morata 15 mind before the deadline! Had a fair few good weeks so it was inevitable really, it’s only 13 points but the last minute switch makes you feel worse about it!!

Without hindsight… I’d do the same again. And I did it too, so not a baseless decision. How did Lejeune do for you?

Me too mate, on paper it was sound, cant have regrets and just a small kick in the nads not a booting! Don’t know what’s happened to my main man Leguene! Looking better with Clark in there, were still shite though!

i brought in morata for kane with the 1 FT i had. Captained him instead of salah. Now salah may not be in the squad for the next game for his knock and i only have 1 FT to bring back Kane for Morata. Tempted to use either the free hit or wildcard now. any thoughts?

My gut says it’s best saved for a blank game week, but i think it depends on individual circumstance. Bringing in Kane, Ali, son and 3 West Ham players plus a team of players with great fixtures may actually work. I think that’s what makes this chip so intriguing, I certainly think it’s best use is in an unusual GW( double or black) and as with all the chips, it will work well for some at one time and not for others! With no double GW players perhaps this IS your best time, keep us in the loop if you do, and how you fair!

Fair Point you make! In hindsight, i would have not transferred in morata, benched kane to save up the FT. I would have replaced azchpi and richarlison to bring in schindler and Alli.
At this moment, I could take a hit but it will be minus 8 as I would have to replace morata, richarlison and azphi to get alli, kane and schindler. I would have taken the gamble with minus 4 but not sure if I will take minus 8. Would you have done it in my position?
I plan to play the free hit later in the new year on black GW or double GW as you mentioned. If i do not proceed with minus 8 then I can play the wildcard and shape my squad for the upcoming games.

Don’t play your WC. Rosco makes an excellent point on the Free Hit Chip though. I’d be 50:50 on that but consider it for sure.

Rosco – if it’ll make you feel any better I accidentally left my Cpt armband on Morata last week.
You know…the week Kane scored his 2nd hattie in a row and broke a few records along the way !!
p.s. I was playing with the team late night (like 05h in the morning) with my thoughts on the next gw…and forgot to put it back on Kane…

Is it worth taking a 4pt hit for a West Ham defender?

You’re not alone Joanne so take heart, I’m torn between Alli and son, will likely go son as that will allow me to get Arnie. I think all bets are off in a double so would not against a hit but perphsps for a defender it’s less likely to be profitable. The chances are West Ham will get at best 1 CS ( and that’s not a guarantee) so let’s say your defender gets 8 points over 2 -4, do you have a single week player who could score more?
