  1. Happy and safe New Year everyone from New Zealand. Hope everyone has a cracking night. How has the GW treated you all?

  2. Kane looks like TC material to me!!

    • How am I looking? Have 4.1 ITB should I do Richarlison to Eriksen or Alli?

      • Nitro, I need to decide also. Eriksen is extremely consistent but Alli can be very explosive and has come into some form over the past couple of weeks. I think I’m leaning towards Alli. Are you playing TC?

      • Mitro,

The question that always plagues me is, “What next”? If you have a fair amount invested in the players out, which, if any, will you want to retrieve, and how quickly? And will you have enough to to bring them straight back in, or does it require juggling? For me, I can trade De Bruyne for Eriksen, and bring him straight back in-lots of time to next round, if KdB isn’t hurt too bad, but Sterling for Son means I can’t get Sterling straight back (too much invested in Sterling), FWIW.

      • Forgot to mention it would be for a -12?

        • WTF Mitro!! -12!!?? But .. but .. what’s next? smile
Best of luck mate and I really hope it pays off for you.

        • It’s only a game DMC! Death or glory awaits…… smile

        • With that spirit , glory is granted! smile

  3. Quick heads up, Coutinho and Salah weren’t pictured in training today – looks possible that they might miss or at least not start tomorrow… Only guesswork tho of course.
I might take a cheeky punt on Solanke considering it’d be McBurnie coming in if Salah doesn’t play for me hahaha

    • Cheers for the info Bob! I’m now used to play with 8/9 men so can ride Salah being out! smile

  4. I ‘m already on a -4 as I made the decision to replace Naughton with Ogbonna, it seemed a no brainer given his suspension & West Ham’s upcoming fixtures.

My plan is to change Mariappa to Alonso next week. Now I’m thinking to go -8 and bring in Vertonghen for Mariappa for one week.

Given the potential injury to Salah, does anyone else think this might be a decent one week punt?

    • Go on take them hits! To be fair, we haven’t discussed much buying Spurs defenders, given their attacking potential, but yeah I can see them making two CS for sure

    • I dont like the extra hit for the defender personally Den.

      • I never do either, but Vertonghen has two nice fixtures and is likely to play 180 mins, plus Salah is looking like a no show.

I think there is a good chance Loftus-Cheek comes back into the team to face Southampton though.

  5. Hi guys

I have 1FT and 1.3 in the bank.

    Should I do

    A – Richarlson to Arnie
    B- Chritiansen to Vertonghen

  6. Hey guys,
Already used my 2Fts to get Arnie and Vertonghen for Richarlison and Christensen.
In two minds whether to take a hit for Ogbonna/Masuaku for Kenny.
Kenny has tough fixtures ahead with little CS potential.
West Ham have pretty decent games and since it’s a DGW hit is basically nullified. Worth it?

    • I was in a similar situation and took the hit for Ogbonna although Naughton is a much weaker option than Kenny right now. I think I would do it, especially since Salah could be a non starter.

      • Den, Salah news could be imp to whether I make the transfer. Is there any presser before the game?

    • They may (and we all hope so) be on negative points on the second game so that’d be a no for me. Hitting for a Spurs defender is one thing, doing it for a west ham one is a bit crazy imo.
