Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 22. Possibly too much FPL followed quickly by not enough, it’s feast or famine season is Christmas and early January. After a small break to recharge our batteries we are back this weekend to either try and extend on a successful festive period of points, or repair the damage! Whichever one it is we have a weekend of fun ahead beginning with a bumper Saturday program of seven games…
West Ham and Arsenal kick us off at lunchtime with both sets of fans probably wondering which version of their respective Jekyll and Hyde teams will show up. The five 3pm games are a mis-mash of mid-table much of a muchness. With the exception of Liverpool, who will probably steamroller Brighton. Talking of Jekyll and Hyde, Hazard gets a go at one of his favourite fixtures in the evening game as Chelsea host Newcastle. Depending on which version of Chelsea show up, probably one without a real striker….
Talking of Jekyll and Hyde… Everton and Bournemouth get Sunday under way in the early one, before the real action begins later with the much anticipated clash between Poch-present and Poch-future… perhaps. Let’s see what Ole has to say about that though.
Man City then host Wolves on Monday to see the game-week out.

*terms and conditions apply and are available upon request. Management reserve the right to review membership of this league on an ongoing basis. If you enter and win a prize you have to have commented on the site at least 5 times for 8 consecutive months between August 2018 and March 2019 or you will not be considered for a prize. That’s basically 1 comment a week all season, we think that’s a reasonable ask to be considered a ‘regular’.

Yup, big regret not keeping him in my wildcard at 7.1 – Hazard has been a big disappointment and the worry of Rashford rotation with Lukaku seems unwarranted.
Does anyone have any insight into when the carabao cup games will be rearranged/confirmed?
GW25 – maybe? do the games ever get brought forward?
GW26 – unlikely due to European games?
GW27 – no, this is when they were originally due to be played
GW28 – no, this is already a midweek fixture
GW29 – Spurs in Europe, could Chelsea/City play this week?
GW30 – Chelsea/City in Europe, could Spurs play this week?
GW31 – no, already clash with FA cup then internationals
Are you talking about the semis/final or about the blanks in fpl?
The GW27 blanks that will need to be rearranged.

Chelsea v Brighton or Burnley v Spurs
They have been brought forward in the past, not often though. Usually 25-40 days between announcement and the actual fixture. But on a couple of occasions they have rescheduled it quickly, within 14 to 20 days. So GW25 is still in play, but very unlikely. GW36 seems the likeliest, not necessarily for those blanks, but for a blank to be rescheduled and the ones from 27 can slot in at 32 or 35.
A Liverpool one years ago, back in the Suarez days and City vs Stoke were brought forward. If both teams are eliminated from the FA cup they could play in GW31, but there be no need as that would mean they could slot in at 32 or 35 easily as they would not have other blanks. City vs Stoke did clash with CL, so even though they try to avoid it, if both teams are eliminated from European competition and they see no other choice they will throw it in there if they have to.

This is nit a good gameweek for me but the positive is I already know my transfers unless there are any injuries in second half.
It will be Son to Salah and Auba to Rashford for a hit!
Sound transfers there Frenchie, undecided myself on whether it’s worth keeping Auba or not since I’ve had him since GW1
One hell of a GW so far, looking ahead would it be worth a -4 to do Mitrovic to Rashford and possibly Richarlison >> Milivokecic, or Holebas >> a 4.0, or any other way you could think of to raise the 0.7?

Utd are bossing this game against a strong Spurs side. It just shows the shambles that Mourinho instigated and the rows he started with many players. Great game to watch and all credit to OGS.
I think Spurs could still win this. That said I have been impressed by Utd. Good game.
