Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 22

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 22. Possibly too much FPL followed quickly by not enough, it’s feast or famine season is Christmas and early January. After a small break to recharge our batteries we are back this weekend to either try and extend on a successful festive period of points, or repair the damage! Whichever one it is we have a weekend of fun ahead beginning with a bumper Saturday program of seven games…

West Ham and Arsenal kick us off at lunchtime with both sets of fans probably wondering which version of their respective Jekyll and Hyde teams will show up. The five 3pm games are a mis-mash of mid-table much of a muchness. With the exception of Liverpool, who will probably steamroller Brighton. Talking of Jekyll and Hyde, Hazard gets a go at one of his favourite fixtures in the evening game as Chelsea host Newcastle. Depending on which version of Chelsea show up, probably one without a real striker….

Talking of Jekyll and Hyde… Everton and Bournemouth get Sunday under way in the early one, before the real action begins later with the much anticipated clash between Poch-present and Poch-future… perhaps. Let’s see what Ole has to say about that though.

Man City then host Wolves on Monday to see the game-week out.

The games in full…

Keep track of all the action, the goals, the talking points, right here at FF247 Live Match Chat, an interactive chat which encourages you to keep involved and share your thoughts and emotions as the matches take place.

Good luck to absolutely everyone for Gameweek 22 from all at FF247!

  1. And so Spurs title challenge flickered and has now died. RIP.

  2. shaw CS and a pogba assist. glad to have my bench order correct this GW.

  3. The story of my life goes on, yet again my 11 players actually outscore the ML leader but because he has Salah (C) to my Haz (C) he gets more points this GW and I lose more ground…. And I had a decent GW too, 62pts…. Ah, uh, ehem, I should just get Salah and captain him like the rival does every week so I might stand a chance…. :shake:

    • That’s not a bad idea smile

      • Auba/Haz –> Rashford/Salah for a hit I think, although the ML rival has both Rash and Salah so it’s taking a hit to get same players he has, not really great to gain on him is it? 😀

        • What’s his chip situation like in relation to your own?

        • Same, none used yet!

        • Zed – you need Salah by whatever means is necessary

        • Yeah cheers Dreamers I’ve acknowledged that now, need a hit to bring him in though, Rashford for Auba (or Kane if he’s injured) is the plan at the moment… Although Richarlison to Redmond is an option, Richarlison misses so many chances… smile

      • Redmond looks a player reborn

  4. 11 saves by De Gea and 7 from Lloris, two great goalkeepers on the pitch today!
What a result for Man Utd.

    • Yep, that was quite a show, although some of the shots DDG saved were straight at him and rather poor, but a few magnificent saves in there as well!

  5. 2FT, 0.1itb

TAA & Jimenez were top of my shopping list but reckon Rashford in is now the priority.

How would you do that? (And is it worth a hit to bring in TAA as well?)

    • I would say yes for TAA. LIV have great fixtures. I took one this past week for him and Etheridge and it sure paid off.

      • Thanks. Will keep an eye on price moves and finalise TAA move later in the week.

What would be your route to Rashford? I can see him increasing 0.3 this week so tempted to make an early move.

  6. Hows everyone looking? Looks like I’ll finish on 73 after bp and subs so happy with that. No players tomorrow sad

    • 76 i finish with. no players tomorrow

    • 77 with Jimenez left for me

    • 62 without Salah, guess that’s great smile

      • Make that 58 as need to take a hit to bring in Salah 😀

    • 67 for me. Pretty happy with that.

Could’ve been a lot more (Pererya hitting the post, Richarlison off the line, various Pogba chances saved) but we could all say that every week.

    • 77 all out very happy with that

    • 62(-4) with Aguero left to play. Treading water, still.
