  1. Wish I’d captained Fernandes but it’s fair to say that is completely in hindsight, given the form and fixtures it didn’t make sense. Nobody could predict a 2nd minute karate kick and subsequent demolition. Reminds me of a similarly lucky Vardy captain pick I had last season when there was an early sending off and Leicester went big guns.

  2. My bookies have given the odds for BUR v BOU on 9th as BUR 4/6 BOU 11/10 to qualify.

When we get the other odds for the FA cup, we’ll be able to have a bit more probability how many and which games will be off in GW29. Beware that these don’t have to be moved to DGW26 if other games to be rescheduled fit better.

  3. A decent week in making, again. But, hope it doesn’t turn up like last week. Fizzled out at the end.
So happy that captain pick clicked for a change.
McGoldrick has done me enough damage. A straight swap to Bamford or Antonio, which one do you guys suggest?

    • Congrats on the excellent start to the GW!

That is a tough one. Both excellent picks. Bamford is yellow flagged with dead knee so not sure what that is about.

      • It may well be that this GW matches make your decision for you. But right now, given Antonio’s next two fixtures (Fulham and Sheffield) I’d go for him.

        Ps. I have both!

        Pps. No love for DCL?

    • Antonio has quite a tough run, though in better form,.

Bamford is feast (8, 15) or famine (1,2), has good run till GW 28.

      Likely Bamford

  4. Has to be a record!

    Poor fella….

  5. Hello folks.

Best GK to pair with Martinez with possible doubles in mind under 5.0?

    • Hey LRL, had a quick look at the potential fixtures (and under budget) and Meslier looks to have a decent chance of a double and decent opponents. Obviously we should have a better idea in the next few weeks!

      • Fixtures needing re-arrangement:
        Aston Villa v Tottenham Hotspur
        Aston Villa v Everton
        Burnley v Fulham
        Everton v Man City
        Fulham v Tottenham Hotspur
        Leeds v Southampton
        Man City v Southampton

Meslier yes. Was thinking McCarthy but after last night…

        • Remember how they’ve come back from 2 huge drubbings in the past, though! (Last year’s 9-0 and this year’s 6-0, I think) .. Beware the wounded Southamptonite (dunno what you call them!) . smile

        • Southamptonite :big-lol:

        • Sort of like Kryptonite for opposing teams (when they’re on form, not last night!).

  6. Any chance of dias being rested? Just concerned stones and cancello had there turns so could be dias tonight?
