Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 22. Happy New Year! Coming thick and fast these game-weeks aren’t they? And this one is our first DGW of the season with Spurs and West Ham having two matches each. It is their rearranged derby that concludes our GW on Thursday, but before then we have three days of action. Today sees five matches – the lunchtime fun sees a south coast battle as Brighton host Bournemouth. If that doesn’t tickle your fancy then at 3pm we have the Liverpool attack vs the Burnley defence, Leicester welcoming Huddersfield and Newcastle travelling to Stoke. The evening fun takes us to Goodison with Rooney inviting his old United mates over for a drink. And extras.
Tuesday sees four further matches in the evening – Palace go to Southampton, Swansea host Spurs, West Ham and West Brom meet and Man City pound Watford.
The best is yet to come. Wednesday sees just one match, but what a match as Arsenal meet Chelsea at the Emirates.
Our New Year extravaganza then comes to a conclusion with Spurs’ and West Ham’s double date at Wembley.

Without the benefit of hindsight Vardy was a great move this week! I’m yet to tell my eldest he didn’t play. He’s lost in time and hasn’t realised, I’m dreading that convo tomorrow! I encouraged him to get him….

I agree that Kun is a must now. Lingard’s minutes would slightly concern me, but on current form you’d imagine he’d keep his place in the team.

Not dismissing him at all but he has started a fair amount of games this season and his goals tally ain’t that great. He’s not really been taken off for Jesus one either seems to play

Seriously, Arny or Lingard seem good options. Izquierdo for Brighton looked really good today as well and they have a great run upcoming.
Richarlison is still a good option.
Bolasie would be an interesting differential, although I’m not sure how their fixtures look.

Jesse Lingard based on the moment. Willian has tore apart two bad teams and his minutes are up for the debate. Lingard’s minutes can also be questioned, but he has been starting for a lot longer, so should have the confidence of his manager a touch more.

Why exactly are we making transfers 12 days before the next deadline with 2 and in some cases 3 games to be played before that?
It’s a fair point DMC. Mostly cash management but it’s always a risk
Logic and sanity never applies to FPL DMC.
Jesus as spoken about 2018 and if the recovery time is the optimistic one then he only misses 3 PL games (besides the Watford game, of course).

What happened to Mariappa and Where did Wague came from all of sudden and why did he substituted against swansea? Who can I replace Mariappa with any 5.0-55. range def? Already owned Jones, Masuaku, Mee and Kenny, Pickford, Speroni
Unfortunately Marriapa will never be able to be trusted to hold down a place in the team for a prolonged period and is attractive to us due to his FPL price.
Wague is on loan from Udinese.
With the amount of defenders Watford have and with them seemingly unable to defend entirely convincingly, I’m not sure any are worth the trouble.
