Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 22

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 22. Happy New Year! Coming thick and fast these game-weeks aren’t they? And this one is our first DGW of the season with Spurs and West Ham having two matches each. It is their rearranged derby that concludes our GW on Thursday, but before then we have three days of action. Today sees five matches – the lunchtime fun sees a south coast battle as Brighton host Bournemouth. If that doesn’t tickle your fancy then at 3pm we have the Liverpool attack vs the Burnley defence, Leicester welcoming Huddersfield and Newcastle travelling to Stoke. The evening fun takes us to Goodison with Rooney inviting his old United mates over for a drink. And extras.

Tuesday sees four further matches in the evening – Palace go to Southampton, Swansea host Spurs, West Ham and West Brom meet and Man City pound Watford.

The best is yet to come. Wednesday sees just one match, but what a match as Arsenal meet Chelsea at the Emirates.

Our New Year extravaganza then comes to a conclusion with Spurs’ and West Ham’s double date at Wembley.

Time to go large, score well and enjoy!

    Hope you’ve all TC him, otherwise you’ll need a sofa to hide behind…lol

    • No need for a sofa. I didn’t TC him and I still want him to go big. I’ll lose points to those that TCed him, but I’ll win many points to those that don’t have him (or needed hits to buy him) or that haven’t captained him. In sum, I do not fear your TC, I want him to score big.

    • Yeah I’m with DMC, I’ll be more than happy for him to score big despite not having the TC on him. We’’ll obviously score 33% less than those who have used the TC but well hopefully have the opportunity to make that up as and when we do use the TC!

      • It’s the very same having a player score well without captaining him. If I own him I want him to score a hat trick whether I’ve captained him or not.

        I’d rather have a 4 point captain and a 17 point player next to him rather than two ‘two’s’

        • Yep. Hope he scores big too.
          Overall we will get a green arrow.

          In the top 10k
          8.5% have tripled captained him and 63% have ‘double’ captained him.
          So with a big haul tonight and we fall behind 8.5% of teams but pull away from 37% of teams who haven’t captained him.
          And a big adios to the 21% of teams who don’t own him
