Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 23
Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 23. We’re back for a quick ‘two dayer’ before being rudely interrupted again by the FA Cup next weekend. Wolves and Leicester kick us off on Saturday in the early game before we get going properly with no less than six 3pm games. Mid-table obscurity leads the way as Bournemouth welcome West Ham, Saints play Everton and Watford host Burnley. Further down the table there is at least some interest as Newcastle and Cardiff have a potential six pointer. Man United will be hoping that mid-table is but a distant nightmare when they play Brighton and then the big one, in terms of title importance anyway, is Liverpool hosting Palace.
The battle for 3rd, 4th or 5th heats up on Saturday evening as Arsenal and Chelsea clash.
Sunday begins with Huddersfield, and their ‘score-keeper’ checking that he has the numbers 8 & 9 in his bag, as Man City come to town. The Fulham bloke may as well be diligent too, ahead of Spurs visiting at 4pm. Stranger things have happened…
The games in full…

The League Codes for FF247 for the 2018/19 season are as follows –
not a bad end to the gw. defence: 4 players – 2 points. the rest – 71 points. overall 73. pretty happy and reduced the lead of my ML to 25 points. hit for sane paid off this week
Great eresh, I’m gonna end at 64 and a red arrow this gw.
Ill finish on 83. Well chuffed with that. 100 points behind in one ML and 65 in the other. Against experienced enough players so not likely to get major benefit in them playing chips poorly. So I remain 6th and 3rd respectively.
What is the return status of Mendy?
End of Jan was always cited and Pep confirmed that he is back in training so maybe he’ll get a run out in one of the cups.
Obviously I wanted City to drop points today. As that wasn’t going to happen it’s good to see Sane amongst the points.
They are putting teams to the sword easier than us. Were lucky enough yesterday with 3 of the goals scored. I know we didnt lose but it feels a little laboured with not many options to come in – Keita been a big disappointment so far.
I expect that to be the case for the remainder of the season as we like to make things as difficult as possible for ourselves.
Yeah, Keita hasn’t lived up to expectations but still time for him to come good.
They missed Gini controlling things. But right about Naby.
I didn’t think City were great today with quite a few passes going astray and even out of play.
Lorente with a goal, but at the wrong end! You couldn’t make it up!
Kruz, you’re spot on with Gini.
+ 1 true on keita. klopp did say before some take time to get into the system and some are quicker. keita will live up to his expectations as he gets more game time.
Early thoughts guys:
Hazard and Anderson to Sane and Pogba for -4?
0.7 ITB
beno – I would think yes
I’d keep Hazard for his next 2 if I had him. Definitely a yes on Pogba though.
Init, I can’t get Pogba unless I downgraded Haz, Ings or Auba. Thoughts?
Llorente scores. Well done people that picked him up.
I’d like Fulham to get a result here
+1
I almost did raz
Good start for any Llorente owners?
Don’t say this…they will be furious. Its really unfortunate for him – now he needs to salvage some pride by scoring in the right direction.
