Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 23
Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 23. We’re back for a quick ‘two dayer’ before being rudely interrupted again by the FA Cup next weekend. Wolves and Leicester kick us off on Saturday in the early game before we get going properly with no less than six 3pm games. Mid-table obscurity leads the way as Bournemouth welcome West Ham, Saints play Everton and Watford host Burnley. Further down the table there is at least some interest as Newcastle and Cardiff have a potential six pointer. Man United will be hoping that mid-table is but a distant nightmare when they play Brighton and then the big one, in terms of title importance anyway, is Liverpool hosting Palace.
The battle for 3rd, 4th or 5th heats up on Saturday evening as Arsenal and Chelsea clash.
Sunday begins with Huddersfield, and their ‘score-keeper’ checking that he has the numbers 8 & 9 in his bag, as Man City come to town. The Fulham bloke may as well be diligent too, ahead of Spurs visiting at 4pm. Stranger things have happened…
The games in full…

Welcome to our Fantasy Football leagues section.
The League Codes for FF247 for the 2018/19 season are as follows –
Salah goal or, Speroni OG or, Milner goal?
Salah but just barely 😉
Time to go for Anderson. What a disappointment he has been since I bought him.
All ‘sons of FPL are not returning even if you are rich or mad or whatever. The original one is in Asian cup though.
And now for everyone’s favorite weekend game!! Richarlison + Camarasa + Fabianski = Milivojevic 1st on my bench! Go ahead, play along
Richarlison.What a turd.Includes 0 key passes too.
I swapped Townsend for pogba instead of this waster..
He needs to go, problem is there aren’t any descent replacement
Yeah I’m struggling think he survives another week
Got any ideas for a replacement? I have like 7.4 to spend i think
Nah nothing comes to mind as being obvious. I mean Jota scored 3 today
@Smash, next GW you will bench him on Predicted line-ups.
Maybe Lamela if he scores/plays tomorrow
Would it be terribly surprising if he was benched Mito?
Jota would be an idea but not that keen on double wolves attack.
Need to monitor Lamela then
@Dreamers, next GW? Heck yeah.
true that dreamers. marco silva will bench richarlison when they face huddersfield away.
Tosun or DCL does give Silva options. He did bench Richarlison some 5-6 games back, its not out of the question I would think
DCL is a better option based on what they have at their helm. lets see what their lineup is like against milwall next weekend.
Liverpool had only conceded 10 goals in the PL from 22 matches before… that! Meaning a 30% increase today alone.
Palace, meanwhile, have scored ~23% of their goals in the PL whilst playing away at either Anfield or, recently, the Etihad.
Look at Statty McStatty
Its a make shift defence with right side missing and if Van Djik is occupied, its all open to score.
Indeed; the return of Gomez can’t come soon enough for that lot.
2 more weeks for gomez to return i reckon. i hope TAA starts next game
Just got in, had no idea what had happened and saw with some horror the score from Anfield. But Palace have given Liverpool some good games over the years.
My nerves were soothed however by the Salah points.
59 from 9 so far with sane and hazard to go. happy with that despite the defence today gathering 2 points : fab(2), digne(-1), doherty(1), wan bissaka (0)
59 from 9 for me also, Hazard and Aubameyang left
Oh and my defense. 1 point from Doherty incoming
good assist from robbo that.. well done wafflez. i am happy with wilsons last hurrah. i will kill him off 1 week from tuesday.
nice wafflez. early congratulations on winning the el ef cee league. i know its early days but cant see any1 catching up to u
Well anything can happen. But so far so good
I thought Everton scoring (therefore costing Bednarek a clean sheet and likely 3 BPs) was unfortunate…
Well, it still is, but your defence takes the biscuit! That’s a pretty solid score nonetheless.
think im 63 before bonus. Happy with that
make that after
if my maths is correct. you are 68 from 9 (including dunk)
that would be nicer Eresh
good week for u dreamers. miles ahead of me and my rank.
how many hits have u Eresh?
this week just 1 dreamers. overall 40 transfers done till now
19 hits for Eresh, has taken one in 11 of the last 12 weeks. 5 times it was an 8 pointer. His hitting has coincided with his ranking starting to drop.
thanks for the reminder mito. i will probably beat mitro’s record of transfers by the end of season. last season my transfer count was 52. i might surpass that based on my current ratio lol
The Stat Father has returned and superseded me.
I am prone to also hitting, but Eresh might make Mitro blush.
Ignoring whether those hits had a payback or not , u wud be ahead of me if you hadnt.
Ive 6 hits so far
i think you make carefully calculated hits Mito unlike me. i am surprised you done a -12 this week. i never done that last season and i dont think i will do it this season. -8 is far as i go.
true that dreamers. it all changed from gw16 when i dropped salah and he had that hattrick.
13 Mito – seems to be working for you
Eresh – did likewise (Salah) – think it was for a -8 (to get Kane). I had almost forgot and gotten over it. Thanks mate for reminding me
that week brings me nightmares. was the day i lost my top spot from my office ML and i am still trailing to this day. in our el ef cee league, i went from 4th to 13th as of now lol.
Nice score there Dreamers
cheers Wafflez. its been a fairly horrendous Dec so looking for a better Jan
