Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 23

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 23. We’ve gone from feast to famine in terms of a hectic Christmas and NY period to the lull of FA Cup weekend. However we return to normality this week – a 3-day gameweek! We kick off with six 3pm matches – Danny Drinkwater gets a chance to show his old employers how far he has come as he watches Chelsea host Leicester. From the bench presumably. Palace welcome Burnley, West Ham go to Huddersfield, basement dwellers Swansea travel to Newcastle, Watford and Saints meet at Vicarage Road and Lord Pardew looks to continue West Brom’s brilliant run as they host Brighton. The evening match sees bus driver Big Sam drive down to Spurs.

Sunday sees two matches – first up is Wilshere’s journey back to his best days as Arsenal go to Bournemouth before the highlight of the gameweek as Raheem is another to make a return as Man City take the short trip across to Liverpool.

Our gameweek concludes with a Monday night special as under fire Mark Hughes continues the themes of returns as he takes his relegation threatened Stoke lot to Man United.

  1. Ox in for Richarlison or Robertson in for Kenny as I have 2 of the 3 musketeers already?

    • Kenny has a good fixture and I don’t like Ox how’s the rest of your team

    • Kruz i’m still looking at Ox as a serious option – not many people have him and hes on form

  3. How’s everyone doing? On 75 with a -4 And pobga left to go. If he can out score Lingard I should see I nice move in my ML. So here’s hoping that happens

  5. Hey guys. Would really appreciate some advice. 2nd in my mini-league but 70+ points behind first place. Have been climbing up the rankings pretty rapidly with this team but bench = non-starters. Next several GWs might be key. Got 1ft and £0.4itb. Team is:

    De Gea
    Jones / Otamendi / Alonso
    Lingard / Hazard / Sterling / Salah
    Firmino / Kane / Quaner

    Elliot / Mariappa / Hunemier / Lee Chung-yong

    Option 1: Hazard and Lee out for Arnie and Lanzini over next 2 weeks then strengthen subs.
    Option 2: Hazard and Lee out for Arnie and Son
    Option 3: Hazard out for KdB
    Option 4: Other

    Both City and West Ham have some tasty looking fixtures so tough decision!

    • I like 3. Not a fan of 1 at all think 2 westham is a bit much.

    • Cheers Smash, Gavy. Yeah two West Ham seems a bit much despite their fixtures (saw Cookie doing it so threw it out there). There’s also Mahrez who’s pretty in form. Hmm…

    • Not sure on Rambo. Wilshere has been their best player and that’s where Rambo was playing so maybe just swap for Arnie
