Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 24

Welcome to Fantasy Football Live Match Chat Gameweek 24. Time to get the show on the road once again and we start down at the south coast for the lunchtime fare as Chelsea visit Brighton. Six 3pm matches follow as top-6 stragglers Arsenal host the slowly improving Crystal Palace, Man Utd take the short trip to Burnley, Everton welcome West Brom, Leicester entertain Watford, Stoke clash with Huddersfield and in what should be a more entertaining affair, Bournemouth go to West Ham.

The evening match sees Newcastle entering the lion’s den as they look to stop Kun, KdB et al at the Etihad. Sunday sees just one fixture and it’s another London team travelling south as Spurs go to Southampton.

Our game-week concludes on Monday with Swansea hosting free-scoring Liverpool.

  1. Nothing like Liverpool’s 75 million CB setting up the Swansea win

  2. It’s a funny old game this FPL lark!

I never considered bringing in Aguero, so cant feel too down about that. I did have my hopes pinned on Firmino and Salah ( even if it was just to get one over my gloating colleague who (C) Kun) but in the end I was alright with the result as I had the armband on Salah all week till about 11am when I moved it to Kane…. at the full time whistle I suddenly rendered my FT this week was Fabianski to Pickford … balls!

Well played to those who had Kun and give him the armband! Commiserations to those who didn’t.

Few days away from FPL decisions, watch Chelsea put us out the cup at the weekend; I’ll be ready to go again next Tuesday!

    • A dog’s dinner of a game-week for me Rosco.

40 points and my second lowest tally of the season.

I agree. Looking forward to some cup action now and forget about this past weekend.

      • Not much better on 51 mate, just one of those weeks!

What’s your thoughts on Aguero moving forward? I am tempted to switch Kane for a few weeks but can’t decide!!

  3. 80pts!
Only 6pts today, needless to say I was expecting 3xtimes more!!
p.s. and I’m not gonna comment the game itself, too pissed off to do that !

Projected rank 65k (rise from 137k last week prior to WC) !!

Still not inside the Top1% , but slowly getting there…

    :satansmoking:

  4. Ending the gameweek with 72 points. Damn, van Dijk. Wtf did you do?

  5. BPS for scoring the winning goal explained, sort of:

    • We’ll probably be looking with even more interest for the 1st goalscorer each game, especially from the big teams given that shut outs are more likely.

  6. Ended on 58 points, 34 from Aguero to say i got awau with murder is an understatement!

I have 3 big issues and only want to deal with 1 or 2 max as not a big fan on taking hits. 1.4 itb

    1. Foster thinking just him to Ederson

Richarlison, Christensen and son also need to go asap. Thoughts?
